QGEMjzkYIekAjwKyo92S Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I have both the Saitek x52 pro system and the Logitech G940. Which system do you think is going to work better with DCS. Also which will allow use of creating profiles that work in game using the joystick software?:pilotfly:
CyBerkut Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Which DCS modules are you intending to run? Both of those HOTAS have profiling software. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1
QGEMjzkYIekAjwKyo92S Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 Right now I mostly run the F-15c in flaming Cliffs 3
CyBerkut Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Whichever one you like the best should be OK. With the G940, you have rudder pedals, so that may be a better fit. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1
zaelu Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I received as a gift my G940 system and gave the same way my X52 Pro. I don't regret it for second. G940 has FFB, Split throttles, Better placed buttons. Is true that I had to modify it quite a bit to get rid of hysteresis bugs but it worth it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
Suchacz Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 G940 is the best solution for chopper controling. For fixed wings you can use the one which suites you more. Per aspera ad astra! Crucial reading about DCS: Black Shark - Black Shark and Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics, Black Shark and the Trimmer, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 1, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 2
QGEMjzkYIekAjwKyo92S Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) Im having trouble using the G940 software. I can program keystrokes but nothing happens in game. Also Zaelu how did you get rid of hysteresis bugs. Im using the Saitek rudders they have a better feel. Edited June 13, 2013 by QGEMjzkYIekAjwKyo92S
