hi,

I just got a X52, not to happy with it...before I take the darn thing backI would like to find out how you folks who like it have it set up...

I'm having issues with the hat switches mainly..I'd like to use one for trim one for TD and the last to look around the cockpit...as I don't have a trakir sysytem.

I'm still running plain Lomac and not yet FC..thought that will be on it's way soon.

Santa left me an X-52 in my Christmas Stocking. I must say that I am having no problems with it. I also installed the program manager. This is a must for setting up your own profiles. A Trackir system at some point would be advisable. Once you have flown using the system you'll never fly again without it. If your still having problems post again. I am sure other members will be able to give you detailed instructions on how to solve any problems you may have.

Me too, I just got a x-52. Its a weird piece of kit. The buttons apear to be everywhere except were I need them. Its kinda hard to fire missiles without bumping into one of the hats. The info button would make the best lock button but the thing apears not to be programanble not even ingame.

The sticks tension is very light but Im thinking adding pre loading to it by the means of a notched doughnut shaped rubber disk. So far Im having trouble avoiding overcontroll. Its not that I dont like it. Its rather that it requires some compromises Im not used to.

Yea, i thought mine was too slack aswell pilotasso. Ive had mine for about 1 month now and the deadzones in the control panel for the joystick sorted it out, now ive got it how i like it. It did take ages to get it setup compared to my x45 which was a doddle, but the 52 is slightly more finicky to setup, but once you have did that and mde a profile and then got the game controls setup correctly aswell, you will enjoy the stick, as it is better than the x45, which at first I didnt think it would be...
