a parte la prevedibile e aggiungo scontata buriana che ci sarà appena esce con i server intasati..

 

L'installer usa come predefinito Bittorrent, che in teoria, essendo un protocollo distribuito, per definizione dovrebbe metterti al riparo da questo problema... poi bisogna vedere in quanti seedano ovviamente. :huh:

 

Bhò io una volta disinstallai DCS senza disattivare le licenze e mi ricordo che alla reinstallazione mi fregò attivazioni...

La perdi invece sicuramente se cambi più di un tot a livello hardware, in particolare componenti "sensibili" come scheda madre, hard disk etc.

 

Pensavo che disattivando il modulo prima di cambiare sistema operativo non si perdesse 1 attivazione... vabè, è un sistema un po' strano IMHO.

 

Comunque io ho deciso: disinstallo tutto ed eseguo un' installazione pulita della 2.5.

 

Infatti è così, se disattivi prima di formattare l'attivazione non la perdi.

Straquoto sulla scelta, farò così anch'io infatti: disattivo tutto, disinstallo la 1.5.8, metto la 2.5 (stable) e riattivo tutto quanto una volta fatto.

Ci metto sicuramente meno che a capire dove sta il problema in caso i vari giri creino qualche casino. :music_whistling:

 

Che io sappia se disattivi il modulo guadagni un'attivazione. Poi formatti quello che ti pare, reainstalli e riattivi il modulo.

Io ho sempre usato il module manager, almeno da quando esiste, ed ogni santa volta che reinstallo dopo formattazione devo reinserire il seriale e mi frega un'attivazione... probabilmente sbaglio

 

Boh, in teoria l'exe che lancia è quello... ma ripeto, mai provato dal module manager.

Il seriale lo devo reinserire anch'io, ma le attivazioni restano sempre 9.

Magari la prossima volta che formatti prova con il metodo manuale, ribadisco che mi fa molto strano perché in teoria lancia lo stesso .exe ma vai a sapere... :huh:

E anche tu usi il module manager... citando la buona Agatha Christie, "un indizio è un indizio, due indizi sono una coincidenza, ma tre indizi fanno una prova".

L'update della 2.2.0 Open Alpha avverrà con il rilascio della 2.5.0 Release (cioè la versione stabile), vale a dire tra 1/2 settimane da oggi (più o meno e salvo grossi bugs dell'ultimo minuto).

La 2.2 non sará piu supportata, attualmente la 2.5 si puó scaricare solo come update della 1.5.8 openbeta.

L'installer automaticamente trasferisce moduli e mappe dalla 2.2, se installata, alla 2.5.

In futuro si potrá aggiornare

Ho notato una cosa che subito mi era sfuggita, sono cambiate le specifiche per la configurazione raccomandata relativamente alla cpu con l' aggiunta delle AMD FX/Ryzen, spazio su SSD e scheda video.

Lo spazio su SSD è raddoppiato passando dagli originari 60Gb a 120Gb, la scheda video dalla 980/ATI R9 Fury è passata alla GTX 1070/AMD Radeon RX VEGA 56 con 8GB VRAM, alla faccia dell' ottimizzazione del motore grafico....:cry:

Scusate la mia grande ignoranza, ma due GTX980 in sli in termini di prestazioni dovrebbero essere equivalenti se non superiori ad una singola GTX1070?, ma il dubbio che mi perprime è: come utilizza il simulatore (programma) le schede video? ne vede 1 con le prestazioni raddoppiate (non credo) o due e ne utilizza una per fare determinati calcoli e l'altra per altre cose? una cosa per esempio è certa oculus rift non utilizza ambedue le schede

L'aggiornamento dei requisito consigliati, in relazione all'upgrade grafico della 2.5, non lo vedo così fuori dal mondo: oggi (2018 ), molti utenti sfruttano risoluzioni oltre il FHD e da questo punto di vista una 1070 è il minimo sindacale (una scheda che non è il top di gamma e che è stata pubblicata quasi due anni fa).

Lo SLI è da sempre una tecnologia poco sfruttata (per ragioni tecniche) non solo dalla ED: da che mi risulta, all'atto pratico 2x 980 non eguagliano le prestazioni di una singola 1070.

 

Oggi il vero problema è il prezzo delle GPU viziato (al rialzo) dal fenomeno del mining.

Concordo con phant riguardo l'adeguamento dei requirements, ma non capisco quei 120GB di spazio visto che si dovrebbe basare sul gioco base (senza mappe e moduli) a me con tutti i miei moduli arrivo preciso a 60 giga, non credo che normandia e nevada siano altri 60 giga...
