kontiuka Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Weird question but do some of the trigger conditions in the mission editor assume metric values? For example, I made a little mission where a message would display once you flew over 450 ft. That is, in the trigger condition, I put Unit's Altitude > 450. But when I play the mission, the message doesn't display until I go over 1500 ft which is about 450 meters. Same thing happened for other altitude conditions. On a related note, it seems wind velocities default to metric. Yes, my DCS settings are in imperial units so I find this very strange. Unless the people at ED are just trying to make us metric Canucks happy.:P
Wrecking Crew Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Yep, it's Metric. Even when you are set to Imperial. Temps, too, in °C. ED did change the ME measuring tool so it is in Imperial nautical miles now... kontiuka Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Thanks. And the map elevations are in feet as well. Just seems to be the weather tools and the trigger conditions.

I prefer to build missions in Metric for me it makes things easier when everything is the same. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Join Maddog Simulations DCS World Club & Squadrons for every module
