Garth1 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Hi Folks, Just bought & downloaded A-10A standalone but it's saying it can not install A-10A 1.2.5.16184 into newer DCS world 1.2.5.16508. Please download A-10A 1.2.516508 installer Can't seem to see this in the download section ?? Can anyone point me in the right direction Ta
SkateZilla Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 This happens when a auto update comes out after the installers are posted online (usually they take a few days to get updated) Try: Start a Command Prompt Type: CD\ ENTER Key Type: CD Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bin\ ENTER Key Type: DCS_updater.exe install A-10A ENTER KEY It will then download and install the latest A-10A build. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

Guess I need to wait a few days I just made a TXT file with the following single line in it: DCS_updater.exe install A-10C I saved it as a file with .bat extension (I called it A10install.bat). I saved the file in the .....DCS_World\DCS World\bin folder. Then I double clicked on it and the install went smoothly (was around 330mb in my case). When I ran an instant action A10C mission the Activation dialog popped up with my previous CD install of A10C serial number already in. Everything works just fine.
