Hi all

Thought might as well get first post out of the way and introduce myself. :)

Well as you may of guest from the title of this thread I am new to DCS world and actually quite new to air combat in general especially when comes to modern planes.

(As they say never too late to learn)

DCS has been on my wishlist for quite a while now in which use to watch quite a few videos of people, likely some of yourselves in this forum, doing missions with teamplay or PvP using full potential of the simulator creating an experience I thought Id never get to try. Then I managed to scrap some cash (got-a-Job) and get a rig with the ability to run Simulators and games like DCS & Arma 3 in which this system has earned its right as one of the highlights of my year.

At the moment just playing DCS world Su-25T due to the simple system with not having fully interactive cockpit, it is currently what I am flying whilst I learn basics whilst enjoying the aspects and experience (training wheels).

I also have A-10C but shamefully havnt had the time yet to properly focus learning how to fly the thing or start it up without having to refer to flight manual every 2 minute but I will get there in the end.

Anyways Im really looking to dive deeper into this Sim and already in the process of getting myself Flamiing cliffs 3 (mig-29s here I come) which is the one in which Im really wanting to get my teeth stuck into including becoming a decent pilot of the A-10C, in which if anyone is able to give a little guidance would be great for this noob and also to see you guys in some servers in the future.

Welcome to DCS.

I started playing DCS late last year (October-ish) but life got in they way and only started playing again recently so I'm starting to re-learn things little by little.

I noticed that DCS has been releasing FC3 planes as one-offs at a discounted price. If you are only interested in FC3 for one plane then it might be worth finding out if that plane is going to get its own separate release.

Thanks for the welcome

Actually was already thinking of maybe getting trackIR in next couple pay days after sorted myself out with an SSD

with FC3 im looking forward to flying all those planes but dont know why it appeals to me a little more, ive had a little look into it and I think will fit me nicely when im feeling competitive.
