Wesjet
After flying in DCS: A10 for a while I looked around to see what else was available and long story short moved to DCS: World. Both have been installed via steam. However, when I use an external view I have noticed that the cannon's rotation in DCS world is so slow it's barely moving. If needed I can make a video for reference - but DCS World I only see it spinning a couple RPM. This isn't a illusion due to speed either, and I see it decelerate - it just never goes over about 4-5rpm spin speed. The animation seemed fine in DCS: A10C however. RIFLE_JTAC_TRAINING
T, After having a quick look to be sure in my DCS WORLD A-10C module my canon is still whipping out 30mm like no ones business! With that said I do not know what could be your issue. Perhaps computer performance related. Snoopy
Silly question but you didn't slow down time before going to external view did you? I just checked and no issues with my GAU-8, she's spinning like crazy! v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website | v303rd Fighter Group Twitter
ED Team NineLine Posted August 31, 2013 ED Team Share Posted August 31, 2013 It seems it can be affected by FPS for sure, I did test in Steam as well, if there was a slight hiccup in the FPS the animation could skip around a bit, but for the most part both the A and the C animation looked fine. Wesjet
Odd thing was that the gun fired fine, it was just the visual of the barrels spinning that was slow. Only noticed it this week, but after reboot it seems to have stopped. My Rig: CPU: i9-9900k - Corsair H150 Cooler. RAM: 32GB, 3200Mhz.
