With 1.2.6 some textures problems and no gun on the rear door...

Hello ;)

 

I have a little bug since I installed the new patch 1.2.6, It's not easy to explain because my English is not too good :(

 

Since I possess the Huey (many month) I've created many mission and with each missions I use different repaints or skins.

But since the new patch 1.2.6 when I load and start with my mission my Huey loose his textures.

In fact now when I start one of my missions my Huey is slick, not armed :mad:

 

Before started one of my mission I choose one skin and I added few weapons the textures are OK, I meet this problem just with the slick versions.... :book:

 

And I have other question, with this new patch 1.2.6 is not possible to have just the machines guns to the rear left and right doors ?

Is it normal because I like fly with just the machines guns without rockets or other guns, I meet a new bug ? :cry::cry:

 

I hope that my explanations are clear and I hope that you can help me because with the Huey is awesome...

Hi Skull ;)

 

As far as I know, the Huey's 3d model has a bit change since the 1.2.6 changelog (new turbine's cooling grids, flares & chaffs equipement etc ...)

 

It might be the cause for the "bug" of your repaints (for the old 3D model),repaints should need updates (obviously in the descition.lua)

 

As you mentionned, this way of flying with only the door gunners is no longer (patch ?) available, two choices :

 

- Fly the "clean" version : no gunners, no weapons

- Fly with "all the stuff" : gunners, rockets or/and miniguns

My english is not very good so sorry if there are some mistake in my sentences.

 

Since i've patch my game in 1.2.6 (the last one), i've notice that my "engine start up" button doesn't work anymore when I press it with my mouse. I need to press "HOME" bouton on the keyboard. My throttle's animation doesn't work too like in this video :

 

Someone has these problems too ?

One last question : I've seen a flare/chaff system mounted on the tail of huey. Actually it doesn't work but will it work in 1.2.7 ?

Hey there !

 

That "ignition button" is the idle release button that you need to press to turn the throttle below its idle setting for shut down, which isn't implemented (yet).

The actual ignition button is located at the back of the collective and cannot be pushed with the mouse.

That's the way the real collective is set up too.

 

Regarding your throttle function, check if you have any conflicts in your control assignments and clean them up if necessary.

If the problem reamains, delete the input .lua-files in the user directory, then reassign all the commands in game again.

 

As for the dispensers, they don't work yet but will in the future.

for Skulleader maybe you can select as loadout 0x miniguns and 2 x rocket pod and when you are in mission, use "jettison" bouton to "drop" your rocket pod. With this, you will have your m60 and no other weapons mount on your chopper ;)
