paddyman Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Just rewatching that 6dof tir 4 movie of the Ka-50 cockpit and it just hit me how many buttons/knobs/switch's etc are actually on that helo, there even around all the sides and up above. So i was just wondering that when we told it will be a fully clickable cockpit does that mean every one of them buttons/switchs/levers are going to be clickable and work?? There just seems so many i'd find this hard to believe.
Maulkin Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Probably not all the switches will be clickable as they may not be directly useful considering the scope of the sim. For example perhaps a switch to cycle the fuel pumps wont actually work because there is no real purpose for doing that in the sim. --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars

Kula66 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 There just seems so many i'd find this hard to believe. Couple of years ago at the Farnborough airshow I had a look in a British Aerospace Mil-24 ... and was staggered at all the switches/jumpers etc that the pilot had spread around the cockpit. How the pilot remembers them all, while under stres/fire I have no idea!
paddyman Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 well maybe if a beta tester would be allowed they might be able to tell us even what percentage of the buttons/switchs/levers that are drawn are clickable and work. IE. if its 50% of the buttons/switchs/levers, 70%, 90%.. I'd really love to know..
ED Team Wags Posted January 16, 2006 ED Team Posted January 16, 2006 well maybe if a beta tester would be allowed they might be able to tell us even what percentage of the buttons/switchs/levers that are drawn are clickable and work. I'm afraid that's not going to happen: 1- Black Shark is currently not in test, all test resources are on 1.12 2- Discussing new feature content is not to be discussed by testers, that is left to Eagle staff. -Matt Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
Weta43 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 So Wags, the obvious questions are: what Beta are you up to with 1.12, how long have you had it & have other things been added to the list since you got it? Cheers.
Ice Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 We are currently up to beta 11. there is a thread here somewhere that can give you more information
