How can I tell which update version?

How do I tell which patch version I have.

 

I see there are patches but I can't determine if I need to download them or not.

What exactly are we talking about? There are no downloadable patches for DCS World or it's modules.

 

You can check the version number by looking at the properties for DCS.exe

In DCS world under downloads, there are a number of patches listed for different types of aircraft.

What I'm confused about is that there are automatic updates applied for DCS and I can see the version number in the bottom right corner of the startup page - but I'm not sure if there are also different module patches as shown in the above link that I should have and is there a way to tell a version number for each module?

 

I'm new at DCS and have P51 and A10 and I just want to make sure I have the lastest patches before I start getting into it.

The auto updater will apply updates for all modules. The patches in your link are for the pre dcs world versions.

As said above, those patches are 'ancient'. The updater takes care of all modules installed when it runs.

When you start DCS world, the version including patch will be on the bottom right corner of the start up screen
