O_Smiladon Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 S! Guys, Is anyone have the problem that when the Mustang is sitting on the ground and moving the rudder seems to have a mind of its own?? I have CH pedals and on all the other aircraft A10c/ FC3 all is well. When the stang is not moving all is good, the rudder does what i ask it to do. But as soon as she starts to roll, it is like its trying to adjust its self. And upon landing the same thing. As soon as the wheels hit the ground away the rudder goes into mental mode and ideas? Cheers guys O_Smiladon [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Cnuke Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Are you holding your stick all the way back?

gavagai Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 In order to taxi effectively you need to use differential braking in addition to the rudder. In general, when you're not trying to turn or just want to make minor corrections, hold the stick back. That prevents the tailwheel from having a "mind of its own." If you need to make a sharp turn, gently push forward on the stick while you apply rudder and differential brakes. Do this sparingly, otherwise you will end up doing doughnuts on the taxiway.
