Gloom Demon Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 When I press m for the Reflex sight when in the 1st pilots position, i do not get anything - even the cross from 1.2.5. And shooting without visual aids is not trivial ;-) Have they changed the design, so that shooting is now only being done by the 2nd pilot or is this a known issue? Gloom Demon Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 Great! Thanks, I'll try that :-) AMD Ryzen 3600, Biostar Racing B850GT3, AMD Rx 580 8Gb, 16384 DDR4 2900, Hitachi 7K3000 2Tb, Samsung SM961 256Gb SSD, Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, Samsung S24F350 24'
lorenzoj Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Keep in mind that once you know where they are, the hidden switches can be operated from the front of the sight with your mouse
Gloom Demon Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 Strangely enough, RShift M doesnt work for me. M works for the 2nd pilot, but I have to manually bring the Reflex sight down. And even then - turning the brightness knob does not make any reticle appear. lorenzoj Thanks for the tip - I couldn't find the Reflex brightness switch until I switched to 2nd pilot :-) AMD Ryzen 3600, Biostar Racing B850GT3, AMD Rx 580 8Gb, 16384 DDR4 2900, Hitachi 7K3000 2Tb, Samsung SM961 256Gb SSD, Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, Samsung S24F350 24'
Scrim Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Did you flip the switch on the backside of the sight?

Changes in this patch include keyboard and joystick input profile updates. Unfortunately this means you have to delete (or save as a backup if you wish to keep them for a possible revert to an older version) the user keyboard and joystick folders found on your Windows drive directory \\users\User Name\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\UH-1H\. Doing so will require you to remap your controls after re-launching the game. In case you didn't realize this, it could be an operation you may have to do in the future again as we continue to update the input settings of the module. Then check this Edited September 24, 2013 by Lizzard My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..
lorenzoj Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Yes.... like Lizzard said is very important to do
Gloom Demon Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Got it... apparently i missed the on/off switch and the Reflex site was off - thanks for the help everyone :-) AMD Ryzen 3600, Biostar Racing B850GT3, AMD Rx 580 8Gb, 16384 DDR4 2900, Hitachi 7K3000 2Tb, Samsung SM961 256Gb SSD, Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, Samsung S24F350 24'
Gloom Demon Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 And yes - deleting the controls configuration files helped - the 1st pilots Reflex sight now engages with RShift M. Thanks again :-) AMD Ryzen 3600, Biostar Racing B850GT3, AMD Rx 580 8Gb, 16384 DDR4 2900, Hitachi 7K3000 2Tb, Samsung SM961 256Gb SSD, Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, Samsung S24F350 24'
