ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 19, 2013 ED Team Posted October 19, 2013 http://community.amd.com/community/amd-blogs/amd/blog/2013/10/18/amd-microsoft--collaborating-for-great-performance-and-user-experience-with-windows-8 With today's release of Windows 8.1, we are able to shine the spotlight on some updated benefits. Thanks to the dedicated AMD technical staff that works on site alongside critical developers and product groups at Microsoft, we are already seeing some nice performance gains over the previous Windows release. In fact, we are seeing up to 9.5% better performance on the same hardware1! just noticed this on my Facebook, an article about AMD and Windows collaboration for windows 8 performance. Would changing to a windows 8.1 os make a big difference for DCS users with a AMD rig ? or is it just hype thoughts ? Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
