DieHard Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Watch the video through. This guy has the start switches and indicator lights inside the cockpit and linked to the RC transmitter. The guy gets into the technical aspect of setting up and running the model turbine engines. Then flies it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
leafer Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Whoopi! That model is impressive! I wish I could do stuff like that. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
Abburo Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 As it looks I am quite sure that is prepared for a scale model contests. That guy made a great work there. The inside switch he had activated is the power on/off for the receiver and the lights shows the battery status. Nothing to fancy, however the interior is extremely well reproduced and this gives a lots of points in apropiate contests. Mogster Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Its an awesome model but I find the sight of an RC heli of that size hovering so close the pilot and cameraman a bit scary. I have some experience of RC models and just a tweak of radio interference could have the heli taking one of their heads off. I'd want something solid between me and the model at that range I think :)
