Via the steam site, CA is 50% off. Wondering if it's worth adding into my "world". :)

I do play a lot of Wargames, (Matrix - War in the East, PanzerKorps, TAoW, AGEOD, etc). Also have a few Tank sims as well.

So maybe having a ground component to integrate within my DCSW would be good. I currently have at the moment DCSW & A-10C. Getting the Mustang (via present). :music_whistling:

TIA,

-Jav

Since it is half price, I would say that it is probably worth it.

I have Flaming cliffs installed mainly because you can't install flaming cliffs 3 with the steam version (as far as i know). I bought Combined Arms on steam and now would like to have it on my standalone DCS install. Is this possible?

Half off might be worth it if you're using it in multiplayer. Full price: a resounding no. It's nifty, but I don't think its full potential is even close to being achieved.

I bought it yesterday along with the Mag-8 beta. Although I have been unsuccessful finding any English language documentation(please help with this if anyone can). I found CA to be fun for the small amount of time I messed with it. I created a fast mission in DCS world, created a vehicle for myself in the editor and then just took control of it from within the mission. It was fun seeing and interacting with the world from the ground. Looking for enemy ground units while seeing the air battle going on was pretty cool. I would say, just don't expect the same level of fidelity that you would get in a module like the A-10C and you'll be pleased with it. Especially for $11, with the Mag 8 I got $80 worth of stuff for $30, can't beat that.

Never mind just found some English docs in the Mod folder.

What is this Mag-8? Did you mean Mi-8?

Check your DCS World istallation folder: x\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Mi-8MTV2\Doc

There you can find few manuals in english. AFAIK full game manual isn't available yet in english.

Everything is possible except skiing through revolving doors.

I shortened Magnificent-8 to Mag8, but yes I meant Mi-8. Thanks, I did find the CA docs and the limited stuff for the Mi-8.

Of course, it's worth actually. But mission creators must allow us to control the vehicles. So, more CA players can join the family.

You can have alot of fun with CA, without aircrafts/ pilots on the server - just ground units against each other.

I might give $5 for it. More than that, no. It has a LOOONG way to go IMO.
