the_soupdragon Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Hey guys I am Looking to build a simple button box for my flight sims. I want It to be a generic box with maybe two rotaries a couple of switches and some push buttons just for general use (flaps, gear etc). Now the thing is I need this to be as simple as it can be because when it comes to soldering I am a total washout (I can just about manage to hold the soldering iron :) ) and when it comes to electronics the same applies. What I am looking for is some guidance in what equipment (electronics wise)I would need to build such a project and the best way to go about it (explained in dummy terms). I do not want to spent 100's of pounds on it I just want a simple box with some buttons and switches on it. thanks for your time and look forward to any help and advise you can offer. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted December 13, 2013 ED Team Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) I would start here http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=205 get some switches and cable and project box, and then get creative :) all can be done for less than £70 the picture below is my pit at an early stage. Showing four project boxes with various switches all running of a bodnar board. nice and simple for now while I am using a projector, as I plan to go down the VR route once oculus is released Edited December 13, 2013 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Zeke Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65998 This link got me started last winter. I was able to build one generic box and a UFC box. I had never done anything like that before. Much Fun! Good luck.

Really thanks for the link. But, I can't receive response via e-mail from LeoBodnar. Long time I've been thinking to create a cockpit, but can't find joy controllers around here. Do you think that they would send their products to Turkey? Long time I've been thinking to create a cockpit, but can't find joy controllers around here. Do you think that they would send their products to Turkey? Devrim leobodnar can be a bit shy with the emails, but I have never had a problem with him sending stuff. from the website 06/02/13 Worldwide Shipping This is just a polite notice as we have had a number of e-mails asking if we can ship to a specific county. The answer is YES! We can ship to any country! To find out the shipping cost to your country just add the items you require to your basket and then click the 'Estimate Shipping' button on the basket page. You can then select the destination country, click the 'Update' button and a list of shipping options and prices will appear. Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
