Gloom Demon Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I am very new to multimonitor configurations - is there a way to display the F10 map on a second monitor? And how do I switch between them then? docfu Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Second this, I'd like to know how to do this as well but I don't think it's possible. It's all or nothing at the moment.
ShuRugal Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 If this is implemented, it should something which can be disabled in server options. Quick referencing the F10 map in MP is bad enough, but flying with it up would be effectively placing AWACS capability in the cockpit with the player.
kk0425 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 This would be nice to have. PeterP could probably figure out how if it's possible. You already can turn off showing of hostile/friendly/all units and the map all together. I don't see the problem with just a map since pilots carry a paper map anyway.
Gloom Demon Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Well, although it might be seen as cheating, it is generally the same thing as if the Su-25 would have been fitted with a consumer GPS navigator. Actually - I have seen a picture on the Russian forum of a Su-25 cockpit with a GPS navigator - i think the plane took part in a Day of Victory (9th of may) parade, though I can't seem to find it.
