I got a IR5 w/ pro clip.

I found a re-center problem during flying that:

Everytime I pressed F12 to re-center the view of IR5 (in a normal sitting position), the point of view is reset to be very close to the HUD, such that the FOV becomes very small, then I have to move backward my chairs or my head to make the FOV in a proper size.

To tackle this problem, I have to move my head forward and close to the IR sensor, then after reset and move back to normal sitting position, the FOV is almost good to use.

Is there any way to set the initial distance of the view point to the HUD or initial FOV such that I do not need to move forward my head just before re-center IR5?

Another thing: after start a mission, the trackir5 profile will be automatically reset to default. So I have to alt+tab to switch to the software and change it back. How to solve it?

Save Snap View

Dont remember exactly off hand, as I havent done it in a while,

Make Sure User Snap Views is enabled in options menu

Pause Track IR.

Center view with NUMPAD5,

Move View Back/Fore w/ CTRL+Numpad* or CTRL+Numpad/, Zoom FoV with Numpad* or Numpad/

Move Up and Down with CTRL+ Numpad8 or CTRL+Numpad2.

once you get it to where you like, Press CTRL+0 To Save Snap View.

Resume and re-Center TrackIR.

Use Numpad / or Numpad * to Zoom in and out.

Is the snap view save for each aircraft or general?

Each AC Should be able to have it's own SnapView.

BS2 does work for zoom in/out by / and *

But FC3 does not, even I set the snap view, if the IR is enabled, and if I recentered ir, it did not load the saved snap view, and / or * didn't work.
