Hey all, I'm a new addict to DCS.

I have a quick question regarding the wording of the activation and installation regulations.

In short, I intend to build two complete, separate A-10 simulators in my house (I just completed one of them).

I note that the guides say that I have unlimited installations and 8 activations, etc., etc., etc.

My question: Does this mean that I can use my *current* serial/code/key on more than one machine concurrently, or do I need to purchase a second one? It's no problem to do so, as DCS's products are on sale for cheap right now, but if it's not necessary, I'll save the money for something else.

On a side note, I'm going to build a sim with four separate installations of UH-1 as well - so I can have a fully crewed Huey to play online with... Yep, I'm out of control!

Thanks,

Cheers!

Technically, yes, you could use the same key on more than one machine with the idea that only one machine would be in use at a given time. However, this would not work in multi-player so an additional key for each machine is really the correct answer.

EDIT: Oh yes, Welcome to the forum and Happy New Year.

AFAIK,

Each License is bound to the Account it's bought from and the User Login, so you wont be able to login to the master Server from 2 machines with the same user name, nor would you be able to login w/ 2 different Usernames and the same LicenseKey.

Perfect answers, guy, thanks - and more info than I thought I needed.

So, if I'm not mistaken, in order to have both sims in use online at the same time, I need two copies of the game (two serials) AND two DCS accounts... Very useful and timely info.

Thanks again - I'm off to investigate multiple accounts - might have to have one of my kids buy a copy and register for me.

Cheers!

Gary (just spent two days getting A-10C running on 4 monitors (3x24" displays and 1x24" touchscreen) with Helios. What a nightmare! :)
