Firestorm Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hi all, Just checking in saying howdy. Recently purchased DSC. Have the P51, A10C and Huey. Really enjoying flying the P51D. I love aviation in general, have a private ticket though not current, and its been a lifetime dream to fly one. Sims are the closest I've gotten. Anyway I've been lurking for a bit, seems like a great crowd here. Looking forward to participating. Echo38 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Hello there! Glad to have another aero nut around. Can't have too many! : )
msalama Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Welcome aboard! The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
Firestorm Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Well after a few hours I can pretty much get her off the ground and back without killing myself. Still hop her pretty regular. Couldn't hit a ground target with a rocket or bomb if my life depended on it. :) Win 7 64-bit | i7 @ 4600K | OS on SSD 1TB drive SSD Cached | 48GB DDR3 1800 MHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 TI SLI- 1920x1080 | TrackIR5 | 3-23" Asus Monitors | Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X | Saitek Combat Pro Rudder Pedals
Zabuzard Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Gratz you can land her which is one of the difficult things! Hiting with the rockets and bombs is only matter of practice. Create a procedure that you can repeat everytime you want to blow some enemy. To creatly increase your hits you can do dive bombing. Here is an image from the P-47 manual: Here you can find some other material too: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=115298 1
