kk0425 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Not being that familiar with the Huey so pardon me if I'm wrong, but are we going to see the M129 grenade launcher added at some point, or is the model we have not capable of that?
Scrim Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I think the answer I got when I asked about the 40 (for grenade launcher) option on the armaments panel was that only the B model was capable of mounting one, or at least not the H model. So no.
hitman Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 There is a toggle switch for the 40mm grenade launcher in the cockpit. Not saying its modeled, just saying its there.

I asked this same question when the module first came out, the 40mm is available on the H Huey panel because they can use the same panel as on the B Huey. There's something to do with the size of the H Huey that prevents the 40mm grenade launcher from being mounted if I remember correctly. Due to your not realizing the potential of the Huey itself to serve a secondary purpose as a powerful improvised ordnance, I take it that you are not of Japanese heritage?

No sir, you fail to appreciate a pretty decent joke. I liked it. And I've used this aspect of the Huey to good effect on multiple occasions. :pilotfly:
