tflash Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Maybe this post by Wags about the F-15C AFM has some relevant info to this question: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=117395 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
splash Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 FC3 has excellent quality in my opinion. Less detailed than A-10C or BS2, pero a very good product. I wouldn't have any problem to see F-18C DCS: Flaming Cliffs or MiG-23 DCS: Flaming Cliffs, for example.
WildBillKelsoe Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 you are confusing DCS with hi-fidelity module the former is the engine and the environment, the latter being a full blown, AFM ( advanced flight model more or less), mandatory click-able cockpit with close to real life systems, avionics, suites, etc.. modelled and working (or even close, modelled, but not implemented) Since the module in question got released bearing DCS:FC3 it means the environment now could host FC2 aircrafts with their SFM and (soon TM AFM). ED currently got their hands full on EDGE implementation and Nevada, so thats why they sought after 3rd party developers to keep the cells agitated in order for us to continue having quality built and modelled aircrafts. So this is good but only needs alot of patience. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
