Huey sometimes won't start

There have been a few occasions since the 1.2.7 updates that the Huey has refused to start on me. I haven't changed my startup procedure at all since 1.2.6, so it's not that. I get everything set up and I hit the starter, but it just refuses to start. The Gas Producer gets stuck at around 18% and won't go any higher. After I exit the mission and restart the engines start perfectly fine.

Try if you you visually see the throttle move if you adjust it.

If N1 gets stuck again at ~18%, check the EGT if you even have ignition.

It sounds very much like you don't.

 

Make sure to position the throttle close enough (on the decrease side) to the idle stop.

I assume you know the procedure, just for the sake of an thorough troubleshoot, you may have a look here.

 

I personally cannot confirm a single failed start attempt, ever

(provided battery power was sufficient if I started on battery, or I didn't forget any other thing).

EDIT: Found out what it was. The idle stop behavior has been changed. In 1.2.6 the throttle position defaulted to idle at mission start. In 1.2.7 throttle position defaults to closed and must be moved open into idle. I don't recall seeing that in the changelog.

Had the same problem and I've gone crazy :mad:

 

Now everything's fine.

 

P.S. even tried the tutorial again, it says "push PageDown a few seconds, so you can be sure throttle is idle"... Haha, funny Belsimtek! :music_whistling:

Hey guys i have a problem but i don't know where to post it because im desperate... i just bough and isntalled Uh-1 Huey and start it but it's loading bar goes in the middle and halts and then the game starts to crash... please advise! Thank you!
