Boy is this a machine... :thumbup:

Hi all :) We have been working since last february with a couple of people of friends on a projet called AdA Mod- "Armйe De l'Air" (ie "French Air Force"). The general idea was to : - integrate as much french hardware as possible (Mirage F-1,Mirage IV created by Knell..., AWACS...) - replace the different Mig29s by flyable Mirage fighters - to entirely reskin / resound the Mig29s cockpits, to make you feel as much as possible like flying a Mirage 2000 or F-1 :) Right now, only the pit of the 2000-5 has been completed, but the others are under development. :) And considered the fact that the flight model, the avionic... could not be properly tuned, the result is something like a Mirage 29S or a Mig 2000-5, but we really enjoyed making it :) We hope to be able to make a beta version available at the end of August (we are still working on a big 25+ missions pack : takes a lot of time to create and to type the briefings in french -and- english ) :) Meanwhile, a very nice teaser made by Lothamroth is available here : http://www.lockon.fr/video.php or http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=28&file=770&lang=en or on low tube (low res : bad for the text explaining what the mod is all about) http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=P9pK-0QxgII&v3 Hub and the AdA Team :) PS : we spent a lot of time on this project and do not expect anything from it excepted a "thanks guys". в общем такая проблема, год назад я купил на сайте LockOn и ГС, наслаждался ими но...недавно украли диск с горячими скалами... не проблема заново купить, просто в прошлый раз диск шел ко мне полтора месяца, а ждать уж сил нет. Может можно найти вариант без ожиданий? Скачать или еще что...

Надо было делать голосовалку с возможностью нескольких вариантов ответа. Полетать хочется, естественно, на КА-50 и Ми-24 ибо у обеих машин насыщенное боевое прошлое, к апачам сердце не лежит, но если сделают тоже не плохо, Ми-28 конечно неплохая машина, но где его реально применяли кроме полигонов? Ну, и напоследок, хотелось бы чего-нибудь современного, типа RAH-66 Comanche :)

Этот вариант почти реализован, за исключением пары Одесса и Горностай. Об их статусе предлагаю переговорить в ТС сегодня перед тренировкой.

С ботами проще должно быть. Они на определенной дистанции начинают пускать тепловые. Соответственно при сближении вырубаешь формаж (желательно вообще МГ), и начинаешь отстрел ловушек: 4-5 штук каждые 2-4 сек. (иначе ЭТ-еха не уйдет)) и уходишь вних. А если ты видишь пуск - то тут вообще проблем нет (меневр + ловушки).

Итоги. Подвожу итоги, пока итоги, как говорится, не подвели нас :). Первый блин комом. Но зато есть о чем подумать. В первую очередь обращаю внимание всех, что приказы РП не обсуждаются. РП - Царь, Бог и Командир в одном флаконе до самого начала боя. В бою командиры звеньев уже могут работать по обстоятельствам, но не раньше. За непослушание РП будут вводиться санкции (вплоть до отстранения от участия в проекте). Следующий момент. У нас есть постоянный закрепленный личный состав. Формирование перед вылетом возлагается на меня. Понятно, что пилоты могут меняться (на то и резерв), но группы количественно и качественно меняться не будут, сегодня за ними окончательно закрепили РП. В связи с этим прошу основной личный состав изначально занимать места в комнатах ТС согласно своим номерам. Группа 1, значит и комната в ТС №1, и так далее. Личный состав, который входит в резерв должен слушать мои указания, в какую комнату ему пройти и выполнять неукоснительно. Прошу понять правильно. Если каждого (а это 30 человек) придется уговаривать занять нужное место, получится такой же бедлам, как мы имели сегодня. И еще один момент. Если еще раз в ТС кто-то назовет наших сербских друзей каким-то обидным прозвищем - человек, независимо от опыта и статуса, покидает проект навсегда. Напоминаю, что следующая тренировка сегодня в 23:00. TS RAF. IP Фрог (если не пошлет нас куда подальше, представляю, сколько мы сожрали у него траффика).

I never flew online with Lockon before January 2006, after already owning it since 2003 and I came into it with many of the same hang ups. I tried to fly on HL, and never used comms, I guess I was a little worried about beeing a noob, and didn't want to embarrass myself, but it was never very engaging, and I still felt very alone. I then moved to completely the other side of the planet, and decided that enough was enough, and started looking for a squadron with members in it from my area. I installed Teamspeak and just hopped on many of the squadrons comms servers and talked with people. I eventually joined up with the S77th guys, as they we're welcoming, friendly and taught me many many things without being patronising or judgemental in the slightest. I now consider myself a full member of the squadron, and have recently taken to teaching others the skills that I have learnt. So, if you wan't to fly the A-10, hop on the S77th comms, and if I'm there, I'll be more than happy to show anyone the ropes :D
