  1. I have a few questions about the Russian TWS radar mode: 1) Why can't it function while jammers are being picked up, but the US TWS can? So far I've noticed that its advantages are that it auto-locks onto a bandit if you move the box next to it while still being able to see the other bandits on your HUD, and a nice picture is shown on the MFD. But that's about it. So I have some questions on this part: 2) Does the bandit get a radar warning if you fire your SARH/ARH at him in TWS mode? 3) Can you fire multiple missiles are different bandits at the same time like the US TWS mode? 4) Are there any other things that I should know about the Russian TWS mode? Hope you can help, thanks guys.

  2. I've been experimenting with the idea of replacing a combat ship in Lockon. I'd like to get a grip with all the little quirks associated with getting everything to look right within Lockon. I've hit a roadblock with the draw arguments. Are they the same used as the "drawarguementsforvehicles1.2" file? If so why are there specific arguments that seem to contradict what actually occurs. For instance arg 11 (Radar Turn) works with sam sites, yet arg 1 (turret rotation in vertical) turns the radar on the Moscow and Kuz. I ran a test of several AI firing anti-ship weapons at both ships, all of the Moscows machine gun turrets move and track the target, while the Admiral Kuznetzov has static weapons that don't even move. Arg 25 and 26 rotated 1 gun on the Moscow, args 27/28 rotated the one next to it. Any thoughts?

  3. Whoa, I've crossed this old news somehow, b000!!! I didn't know. He met one of these "oh sheet!" moments, and meeting his fate he was doing what he was born to do. His dream of flight is now twice as real, as he's gone now on the other side. Lived and died like a hero. Will remember him as that. S!#6

  5. The teamplay and tactical thinking is terrible, that's a fact. However I can't agree that Poles in general can't play football. Double check who are the attackers in German team :) I think this is the weirdest thing of Euro 2008, that Poles were scoring against Poles in German-Poland match.

  6. I'm English and we're not even there, so I'll keep quiet about Euro2008. But there are other teams I happen to support..... ...and River Plate just won the Argentinian Championship (Torneo Clausura), so I do have something to cheer about!!

I would also like to thank the SIM-MOD guys for making the new A10 and wish them luck on all future projects that they may have lined up. Thanks for making Lockon wat it is today! Well in real life, ammunitions like concrete penetrating bombs are the best weapons to destroy a runway so BetAB-500sp would be the most effective one as they are created exactly for this purpose (and penetrating bunkers). In LockOn this is not the case becayse the digg in and explode effect is not modeled so any weapon that leaves many (or one huge) damage texture(s) are most effective... and in this case even gunpods might indeed do a great job (although I never tried this so I can't confirm). if you drop 2 or 3 Mk-84's right next to each other in the middle of the runway... you will block the whole runway completely. Since Su-25T's need quite a bit or runway to accelerate fully loaded you take them the oportunity to take off. Fighters on the other hand don't need much runway (especially MiG-29) so if it's along runway yuo'll need to drop 6 Mk-84's 1/3 and 2/3 of the ruway length... that way it'l be completely out. But then you have the taxyway... so you're gonna need more bombs :thumbup:
