I see no reason not to install 3GO Su-27, installing it won't mess up anything but Flanker will look better than the stock one... Same with RIC's pits, so all who don't want it are afraid to take any chances of messing up their LOFC installs... Me, I have 5 or 6 different LOFC folders, each one is used for different purposes, testing skins, 3D models, mods, SP flying, MP flying etc. I switch between different LOFC instells by renaming those folders to "Lock On" which makes it active. So I experiment a lot, so should all of these who "don't want" 3GO Su-27, IMHO it's the best looking LOFC 3D model available for 0 money!

Oh I see what you mean ... like on this video you can see it well You can see EGT (A.K.A. FTIT on the F-16) drop at 1:13 bottom gauge. I do not know, maybe helicopter engines, with the extra set of turbines run hotter. The KA-50 engine in the game do run pretty hot in my opinion, but I sure they are normal in RL. At any rate I see what you mean now , maybe we can get some cool info.

With all the talk about multi-monitors I realised that anyone with a single big widescreen can improve their use of the Shkval/ABRIS (at the expense of losing their lower corners). If you go into HUD only view you'll see them overlayed on either side of your screen. This is great but is often disabled in multiplayer servers. Well by creating a new LUA file in (root)\Config\MonitorSetup\ you can acheive the same effect in the cockpit view. here's the contents of the new file (called WidescreenCamera+Shkval+ABRIS.lua): -- WidescreenCamera+Shkval+ABRIS.lua Description = 'Full Camera, Shkval in botton left corner, and ABRIS in the bottom right' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = screen.width; height = screen.height; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; } } Shkval = { width = screen.width / 5; height = screen.height / 4; x = 0; y = screen.height * 3 /4 ; } ABRIS = { width = screen.width / 6; height = screen.height *2 / 5; x = screen.width * 5 / 6; y = screen.height * 3/5 ; }

Hey guys, Here is an update of my original Command Center mission. It was recently brought to my attention that I uploaded the incorrect file on the original mission and while it still plays well, the random events were not throughly tested and may not work. This updated Command Center 2 mission has several different random starts and can play out in a variety of ways. I put a lot of time in this one to get the right mix and I've tested the random events and they all work great. If you liked the first Command Center Down mission, I added several more random events to this one and I'm sure you will like this updated one even more. enjoy ron Command Center 2.miz

Hi all! I would like to apologize for my lack of support but I have three reasons for it. 1. I don't know Russian. So far my Russian friends and Google translate have helped me :) 2. I don't have a Russian version of LO, so I'm not sure how the meinit.xml looks like in that version. I therefor only included English readme. 3. I have had a lot of work lately, so less time for textures and skins. :( I have made a skin pack with the "clean" skins. I had regard to about a minute of your track before RL caught up and had me running again.......What I picked up from the outset is that you are seldomly relying on the Pedals ;) As time permits I'll get to the whole track, but two things for now: 1 - Fly with Your Feet (Rudder). 2 - Trim, Trim and Trim again.....Often Re your submission above, use the Rudder to get the reticle's aligned.

Well its obviously not a realistic proposition and its not part of the pylon mod I made for 3GO :) . Cpt Stark asked if its possible to mod it in and have a pylon for it. I just added it(2 minute job), because I was unsure how the stock R-77/rack combo would sit on the aircraft with the pylon adjustments I made for the new R-27/rack combos.....and as you can see from the screenie I posted, it doesn't look quite right :) .

I think of flight simming as a bit of a hobby, I love the genre, in the same way as a golfer loves his sport, he'll buy new clubs once in a while, and more often than not will buy a book on his sport to help him understand the fundamentals. I love a bit of fishing when the weather is nice, I buy a new rod once in a while, I also have shelves stuffed with fishing books. Can you see where i'm coming from? , those who buy the game, it's a bit like buying the golf clubs or the fishing rod. Then we want to expand our knowledge a little further, so we buy a book. Be it Golfing, fishing or simming it's all the same. It's our passion and we don't mind spending the extra. Plus on top of that if you buy from TFC then all the profits go directly into their pockets to help fund something else, be it new games or towards an aircrafts restoration. It's a win win situation.

Sorry, guys... you really will see the spike when APU is starting and no significant spike from TV3. The problem is that the T gauges (or sensors) now are too inert. This is the known bug and it is resolved now. Be patient until patch is out. By the way, the EGT rising during start up must be because significant positive energy balance is necessary to spool up. Please keep in mind that compressor and turbins work far from their best effectiveness at low rpms.

Не ставил т.к. подсвет лапочек меня не устроил. Попробуй проверить в graphics.cfg порядок и преоритет строк, связанных с кокпитом: common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\Cockpit-Ka-50 Textures.cdds"; и т.д.

Hey guys, I am a combat sim fan since early 1990s (Amiga and all) very big fan of the F-16. I am a AH-64 Avionics and Armament Technician in the US Army and recently got selected to attend Flight Training @ Ft. Rucker. I am stoked about it. Nice to meet you all.

I have an x52 and left alt, right alt, left shift, right shift all work as they should. This wasnt the case when I first bought it but a software update added the function. SST Version 6.2.2.0 The way I did it was to use the SST software and use "New Advanced Command" not "Macro" Be aware that it records exactly how you press the keys on the keyboard. Pressing one key once will give you 2 key icons in the lil window, 1 for press, 1 for release so just press "Lalt T" as you would in game and it should work. :)

I have used trackir for the past 3 years and to be honest I can no longer fly any flight sim with out it. So I have to say it is worth it and once you have it and get used to it you will never know how you flew with out it. Bullet

IMO, I would never buy another sim if I couldn't use my TIR4!! Absolutely a must...whichever form of headtracking you use. (of course i could probably live without it if I had a 1080P, 96" projector to sit in front of....)

If I had to give up my TIR, I would probably give up simming. It's absolutely integral. Though, after you start using it, you'll find yourself turning your head while watching TV to make the camera pan.:lol:

Дело не в том, что мне нескем летать в он-лайне. Я летаю в сети с 98 года, с 2000 - командиром эскадрилии (не в ЛО). У нас довольно большой, слетаный коллектив. Пытался я своих орлов заманить в ЛО полетать - никто не соблазнился :( Именно потому, что даже в симуляторах WWII информативность в разы больше. Я, как командир, имел возможность рулить сквадом, ставить конкретные задачи и контролировать их выполнение. все чувствовали себя единым целым, вместе мы - сила, и это - фан. Люди начали встречаться в живую, сдружились. В какой-то момент мне (каюсь) захотелось "поднять уровень полетов". Решил попробовать свои силы в ЛО-онлайн. И вот все мои рассуждения - результат полутора лет уже экспериментов. Делайте выводы!

KIVI21 думаю что вывод ИЛС-а в окно принципе возможен, меня заинтересовала техническая сторона вопроса :) (по времени разгребусь с дипломной работой, подумаю над реализацией в VirtualPanel) Антураж реального ИЛС-а + стекла все такое, для своего кокпит-прожекта есть, из реальных МиГ-21 / 25... Как собственно и управление с катапультным креслом ;) (по большому счету - кусок фюзеляжа). А вот идея с моторчиками и пр. в голову не приходила :) Скажите пожалуйста уважаемый Fisben, не можете подсказать каким способом все таки "просто" выкусить изображение МФД и Шквала? П.С. Товарищ Necroscope, вы случайно не из 8-мой вирт. эскадрильи будете? ;)

На самом деле, МФД на второй монитор выводится совершенно спокойно, проверено на практике. В принципе даже не тормозит. ЛО правда должен обязательно быть в оконном режиме. Другое дело, что этот МФД нужно сделать. Но ИМХО гораздо полезнее для приближающейся Акулы в свете ее кликабельной кабины был бы сенсорный экран, чтобы тыкать в кнопки. Тем более, что это уже вполне доступно. Если мне не изменяет мой склероз, то 19-ти дюймовая сенсорная панель для обычного монитора стоит порядка 300 баксов...
