Waiting for first discount on DCS: Mi-8MTV2
LosT_SouL_VL replied to captainteemo's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
I help you on your way, I bought A-10 pre-order in the beginning of 2011 when at that time the Nevada map was promised as a incentive to buy A-10... -

I want to buy BS2 as a replacement (and steam compatible) for my BS2 upgrade. Do I just have to uninstall the BS2 upgrade module and install the full BS2 module or do I have to do a new full DCS world install? -

You're probably right that it's more like in the lines of North Korea! -

Would you realy back your statement with everything you have? Remember the F-35A kickstarter? You can be a bulley all you wan't, the names of those 2 will have a negative impact on this kickstarter... You gonna need a lot more that your 608...Me unhinged no not really but I think you maybe need to go to a anger management course or maybe to a canine social learning school because my German shepherd has far more manners than you have... -

I wouldn't install it even if it is free, those two are tainted since Clod and I know these forums wan't to show a peachy one sided good news show but that isn't reality; you underestimate and are in denial of the resentment that has it's origin in Clod, ive gotten mails of more than 20 members of three clans that won't support this particular kickstarter because those 2. So i'm not the only one shouting in the dessert. Btw to keep things in perspective I have everything in the DCS store to date... -

@ishtmaill that's your opinion, my opinion is that I really hope this kickstarter fails bigtime! -

What is freedom of expression? Without the freedom to offend, it ceases to exist. (Salman Rushdie) Btw the truth is mostly harsh, mostly... @Royraiden... You rather have that I blame my janitor for the incompetence and failure of Clod than those two that were part of the devs/management, are you that biast, are you? -

So basically those that worked on the incompetant techdemo disaster that is Clod wan't that we put in money blindfolded again for something that's totally unproven and nearly nothing to show except some maybe ingame maybe CGI shots and could be Clod all over again; nice try but no... You can't trust those 2 that bailed out of a still working plane that had fuel and ammuniton left... -
The August 2nd Wags Update! Thread
LosT_SouL_VL replied to Silver_Dragon's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Could the new upk-23-250 model mentioned by Wags in his latest update be legally used in the DCS Mig-21Bis Module? -
Deleted docs mysteriously reappear
LosT_SouL_VL replied to Gloom Demon's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
So the DCS updater is like the steam verify cache option, even if there's no new update available it will run and replace missing/moved files? -
That customers didn't get swift and right information right of the bat.
-
* Update - 22 June 2013 We have completed our internal discussion of the availability of the "upgraded" Flaming Cliffs aircraft and we have decided to make them available for free to Flaming Cliffs 3 customers. We believe that this will add a very high level of new content to the FC3, it will avoid duplicate aircraft types, and we hope it will broaden the appeal of FC3 to an even larger audience. Did I mention that FC3 is currently on sale? * So first it was, but then it was't because someone was talking above his level and now it is (again). Somewhat confusing isn't ?
-
Joking and laughing is good for one and all, especially in these worldwide troubled times but as good as it is, it doesn't take away the fact that if inhouse communication is under par than how under par can the communication towards customers be? I don't think that it's irrational to expect swift and right information right of the bat.
-
But why then did some of your inhouse DCS testers make clear comments about something you're saying is clearly above their level of competency and knowledge? Don't you talk against each other?
-
I bought A-10C beta sometime (03/2011) ago for 60 bucks but the Nevada terrain is turning out to be promiseware and is going Duke Nukem Forever Style... Also if you can't trust what some of the inhouse DCS testers said prior to my purchase (those posts have been silently deleted) of FC3 who can you trust here? *Originally Posted by SiThSpAwN You dont need to buy the individual modules if you already own FC3... FC3 will get the same updates as individual modules...*

I second the Israeli skins and markings *On 16 August 1966, Iraqi Captain Munir Redfa flew his MiG-21F-13 to Israel as a result of Mossad Operation Diamond. Two years later, Israel gave his MiG-21F-13 and two MiG-17F to the United States for evaluation under the code-name "Have Doughnut" (for the MiG-21), and "Have Drill" (for the MiG-17).*

After installation of DCS world and modules; do I need to redownload the Su-25T and KA-50 training videos; iow are these files changed ?
-
After uninstall of DCS World 1.2.0 should I remove the remaining DCS World Directory prior to Installation of the DCS world 1.2.1 version and the modules ?
-
Ive downloaded the KA-50_bsupd_1.2.0.63205.exe module. But i've rememberd that the BS2 upgrade searched for the BS 1.0 version and I have the BS 1.02 version installed together with the beczl weaponskins. So i installed a clean BS 1.0 version and the module now works SP and MP Thanks for the support guys but I'm really a long time away from my last game/forum visit. But to make things absolutly clear and easy : If DCS World and Modules are installed THEN all standalone installs (A10C , BS , BS2) are redundant and may be deleted ? Also can I install via modman the beczl weaponskins to the BS2 module of DCS World ?
-
Now I did : A10c works SP and MP BS2 does not work because if I run the 1.2.0 module I get the error * DCS black shark 1 must be installed and activated* But I have BS 1 on my system and activated
-
No it isn't. I have DCS world installed and the only plane I can fly is the SU25T If I click on the A10 and the BS2 icons I get dumped in the store page, I purchased them a already a long time ago ...
