  1. You have a radar lock. Magic is IR so it’s not locked. magic lock is a circle and a tone. If you have a double radar + IR lock it turns to a triangle. You should watch some tutorials !
  2. Yes the range indication is not accurate, but AFAIK it does not prevent a missile launch. No you never had any magic lock tone in that video . That’s why it didn’t launch. When you have a radar lock, you should press magic slave so that the magic searches towards the radar lock. Then you have a round flashing inside the square to show its in magic slave search mode, changing to a triangle when you have a lock. And front facing IR lock is more difficult
  3. You need to learn how to use the ILS, you missed things... look at sticky posts any recent tutorials
  4. You will get a much lower detection range if the adversary is facing you. Also, you didn't magic slave (unless the video compression washed it out)
  5. Seems the animation speed was increased in latest release, which kinda solves the issue (at the expense of style as animations are much faster)

    Ah no you're right, it's in 2.7
  7. According to another thread, the INS has a backup battery which lasts for a short time. You are probably wanting to relight before it's empty.
  8. Try either passing the INS in SEC mode or the aux ADI in forced mode (forward) but it’s likely that you can’t. If your ins gyro is down that message is there to force you looking at auxiliary horizon on the dash.
  9. Beware, the HUD doesn't display synthetic trees
  10. It's not a bug per se, it's DCS way of refuelling.
  11. I own VPC panel #1, a throttle, a base+grip, and pedals. And I know how to use the VPC software... Yes, the flip switches are ON/OFF/ON. The ON triggered by the cover is associated to two logical buttons, one direct (13), one with inverted mode (14). And if I push the lever it triggers a third logical button (15) And these are used as binds as on the previous DCS screenshot. It then just works exactly as it should regarding the jettison control.
  12. No, virpil cover switches are natively not toggle impulsion buttons, but bistable ( 1 when closed and 0 when open), and they have also an inverted button programmed from scratch (0 closed, 1 open) They work perfectly with the M2000-C binds as it is. Here button 15 is lever pushed (jettison ON) which you can do only when cover is open, buttons 13 and 14 are the two opposite buttons triggered by the cover. You don't want any toggle bind for cover switches, as if you start in the wrong state, it will be inverted until you manually click the cockpit to resync.
  13. Is there any hardware flip cover with a toggle impulsion output and not a bistable output??

You need to designate the IP once at least.
  16. Do you follow exactly the same steps in open beta and stable ?
  17. I'd rather point at the skills, then
  18. Sticky 2.7 thread in M2000 forum...
  19. I have noticed that rearming heavy stores such as fuel tanks, does sometimes make the alignment fail, when the plane shakes. IRL they never rearm, start the engine, and even use the ladder during alignment, as it's sensitive to any vibration. Remember that alignment consists in calibrating an accelerometer down to 0.00001g and sensing the earth rotation... you don't want to shake the plane during that.
  20. Did you try if it's still usable with VR controllers? Edit : I tried with mouse and it makes right click + mouse wheel unusable (which most people use). Left click + wheel is much more difficult to do on a standard mouse for a right hand. Definitely a regression.
  21. There is a very similar issue on the F/A 18, look at the cockpit lighting, especially behind the dash sunscreen. This is at first and second load, playing the same trk and taking the screenshot at exact same time. Why it occurs at different places of the cockpit on various models depends on material properties of the 3D model, but that's not a bug. Why the same scene gets totally different lighting at first and second load definitely is a bug of the 3D engine. This should be reported in main DCS bugs forum.
  22. To me, the absence of reflections on first mission is the bug, no? On the first picture, it looks like the glass is made of air.
  23. You are actually quite lucky, mine crashes every time I load a second mission (and not related to the M2000, does it with every plane). So I need to quit DCS anyway between missions... Never had the chance to see your bug. Graphics issues at second mission load are a DCS engine bug, not related to the module. On the F-16 sometimes you just have a canopy and no cockpit at reload. I've seen pink F14 cockpit at reload. If you really want to get rid of it, play the stable version, it should have the clouds by a few months.
  24. On the other hand, it's better than Spitfire rounds. Seems pretty balanced IMHO
