Hi! I have uploaded the files to my Google Drive, I hope you can download them. DCS_M2000C_FuelTanks_PaintKit.zip https://drive.google.com/file/d/18hd4-3s-6JnJAmipXmQCuMZyM7AB2iof/view?usp=sharing DCS_M2000C_PaintKit.zip https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C91EoLOqxgt-JKO5eIrbYwKIKRfrmcIA/view?usp=sharing As far as I know, there is no official cockpit template.

Something like this. The size would be similar to existing maps. This map is a must have. I think it should be called Adriatic Map.
-
I think the map should go over the northern borders of Yugoslavia and Italy, to the east to include Sofia and Thessaloniki for Bulgarian and Greek users, then over the southern border of Albania to include the whole island of Kerkyra, and to the west to include Italian cities of Roma, Firenze, Verona. It could be nice to also include all of Sicily if it wouldn't make the map too large. The map would be post cold war and early modern. It would include the most beautiful terrain: sea, islands, gulfs and bays, plains, mountains, forests, rivers, interesting cities. And lots of historical context, that could also include WWII.

Absolutely.

correct as is The clock in the cockpit is 3 hours early

Thanks, posted. -
When I see the time on the clock in the cockpit is not the same as the mission time, it looks like an error. To adjust the clock each time as part of the aircraft start up is annoying. So, I would like to suggest that an option to choose between ZULU and mission time is added, either to Special Options or in Mission Editor, so that we can have the mission time in a NATO plane automatically set when we jump into the cockpit.

I couldn't care less what they use in real life, ZULU time is useless in the simulation. I can adjust the clock myself every time, ok, but why would I need that one step more during start up. At least they could make an option in Special Options or in mission creator to choose between the mission time on the clock and whatever the time they use in real life.
-
Of NATO planes that I own and fly: F-15E - uses mission time; F-14B - uses mission time; Mirage F1CE - uses mission time. Not to mention all non-NATO aircraft. Only Mirage 2000C uses "ZULU time". Makes no sense whatsoever, mission time is only what matters in a DCS mission, "ZULU time" is confusing and of no use.
-
There is no reason whatsoever that the clock in the cockpit should be automatically adjusted to the Greenwich time and not the time in the mission.
-
The clock in the cockpit is 3 hours early. For example, when it is 7 PM, the clock shows 4 PM.

Thank you.

Ah, thanks.

And why are they called red if they are green? It would be more pretty to see red flood lights in the game to be honest.
-
Why are red flood lights green?
-
No, it wouldn't fire no matter how long I held it pressed. Thank you.

I have tested it once again. Selected the 530 IRs, and the triangles in the HUD disappeared after 20 minutes. Then I have deselected them for 10 minutes, selected them once again, and they didn't work. It seems that I got 20 minutes after I select them that they would work. But, after that, I have selected the dogfight mode, and I successfully fired the right Magic 1, but then the left Magic 1 didn't want to fire although it was displayed selected in the HUD and gave me the tone.
-
I never warm them up to be honest, how to do that? But I suppose, if the missiles are selected and are giving the tone, that they should be able to fire.
-
I have managed to save a track where both 530 IR and Magic 1 won't fire. It is a bit longer track around 50 minutes on my Caucasus training scenario. Around 20th minute, I successfully shoot down the F-15 with the left 530 IR. Then I head for the north, engaging the autopilot. I disengage the autopilot, and try to shoot down the Mirage 2000 with the right 530 IR. I am having the tone and pressing the fire button, but the missile won't fire. I shoot the Mirage with the guns. Then I head for the MiG-19. I try to fire the 530 IR once again, but it still won't fire. I select the dogfight mode and shoot down the MiG with the right Magic 1. Then I head for the MiG-21. This time, the triangle for the 530 IR in the HUD disappears. I turn the dogfight mode once again, but this time the left Magic 1 also won't fire. I hope the track will be accurate and useful. MF1CE.trk

Thank you, it would really mean that AI is made better at some point, because I and many other players use mostly single player custom missions. From my experience so far, some AI aircraft like MiG-29 and F-16 are made too easy, F-18 could be close to realistic model, and MiG-21 is flying like Superman. So I was wondering what AI models are the most realistic at the moment.
-
Does anyone know is there any realistic Veteran AI fighter jet in DCS? That is close to the player version of the aircraft? I have tried to dogfight in Mirage F1CE vs. Veteran AI MiG-21Bis, and it was like I am stuck with 350 knots and bip-bip-bip-bip-bip sounds while the Fishbed is flying circles around me. I was like, ok, maybe the F1 was not a good match for the Fishbed. Then I tried with F-14B Tomcat, and it was almost the same. Ok, I put all my hopes into the Mirage 2000C, and it was a bit better but similar, I couldn't catch up with the AI MiG-21. Then I thought, it is something fishy in this Fishbed. I looked up the track, and I saw that the AI MiG-21 was accelerating during 6-8g turns with the speed of 400-500 knots. So I was wondering, maybe someone knows is there any realistic AI?

F14 Skinners thread (Paintkit in 1st post)
Silent Film replied to David A Sell's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Would I need some DDS plug-in for Paint.net? I've got paintkit version 1.0 for F-14 from 2019, and it looks so complicated with 9 folders. I have done so far just one skin for P-51 and another for Mirage 2000, and there were just two PSD files. Did you do F-14B skins and can we find them in the User Files?
