  1. I am not sure what you mean, I start a flight with a newly purchased aircraft and set the control bindings for it. And after that when I start another flight with a Mustang, all bindings are deleted, and I need to set them up once again, and then it's ok again.
  2. Whenever I purchase and install a new aircraft module and bind custom controls to it, custom controls for Mustang reset, and I need to bind them all again, but after that it works fine. I am on stable version.
  3. Hi! What is this thing in front of HUD in cold start and how to remove it and turn HUD on?
  4. Thanks! I hope you are right.
  5. Oh great, thank you, now I can plan when to buy it.
  6. Instant action is good for start, but it becomes boring after a while, so you want to learn how to set up missions by yourself. But then setting up your custom missions also becomes boring because it is too complicated and takes too much time.
  7. Probably not in my lifetime lol. I was hoping for a full fidelity MiG-29, but now I will probably go for F-14 I wanted since I watched Top Gun as a kid.
  8. When is F4U-1 Corsair going to arrive?
  9. So when this full fidelity MiG-29A is going to arrive?
  10. P-51D Mustang RYAF - Attack on enemy base at dawn
  11. I only dogfight the AI, and it depends on the level, Ace level Anton will many times even out turn the Mustang. But generally speaking, with Mustang you can do a turn dogfight successfully against Andon and Dora and follow them in climb if you manage to keep the visual contact. And against the Kurfürst turn dogfight is possible at times and with lower AI levels, but generally you wish to go for head to head dogfight, and also most of times you can follow it in climb, but now when the Mustang engine cooling is bugged, following a Kurfürst in climb will make your engine blow up most of the time. You can always do some defensive maneuvering.
  12. I always taxi with my tail wheel locked and speed from 10 to 20 kts, that way I am able to make turns with differential braking, and if the speed becomes too high I cut the throttle.
  13. When I reported this many months ago, I got reply that this is normal and IA was just going RTB. Or emergency landing that is.
  14. I can hear them inside the cockpit just too well. AI AAA is made too accurate, even on lowest AI level, if I'm the first one in the mission to encounter with them, I always get shot down, even if it's on the landing, I touch the ground and I explode immediately because of the damage. Instead of doing cosmetic changes with graphics, better fix the AI to be more realistic.
  15. Be gentle on the stick, move it just a bit, and then stay still in that position, Mustang will start turning slowly, but then it will accelerate the turn.
  16. Mustang .50 cal in DCS can't damage Anton's structure, it's like Antons are made of steel, .50 cal just bounces off. You need to hit it with all your ammo at one point in order to make some structural damage to it.
  17. I have assigned them to two joystick buttons that I didn't use, and now it seems that they work.
  18. Ah, ok, thanks. I was moving them forward with mouse every time, but obviously with no effect.
  19. Why are the levers for both warm and cold air now in back position instead of in front position at hot start, was that done for some purpose?
  20. Yes, thank you. I still never change saturation because I want to feel the "genuine experience" of a module, but I would already need to adjust the curves for my Thunderbolt, maybe sometime later. Yes, this is the topic about the Corsair, and I still can't decide whether to go for the Bf 109 or the Spitfire, or to wait for the Corsair and collect all of the American warbirds.
  21. How do you manage to aim and shoot with Spitfire, I am currently trying Spitfire, and it's so unstable and shaking all the time I can't aim a thing, it's so frustrating.
  22. I am currently trying both Spitfire and Bf 109. And regarding the performance, it's Bf 109 all the way. More stable for aiming and shooting, faster, better at climbing, better at diving, feeling sturdy. Spitfire is cute, but it feels like built of paper. I already own Mustang and Thunderbolt, but I am now going for some real performance in dogfight and in aerobatics in general. Mustang can cope in dogfight with all warbirds more or less in one way or another except for Spitfire, but I want a plane which will provide me the feeling of freedom when maneuvering, Mustang is just too tricky and slow in maneuvering in comparison to Spitfire and Bf 109. But I was wondering, will Corsair be a true dogfighter, I don't know shall I wait for it, but probably not, it looks like it should be similar to Thunderbolt.
  23. Oh, so it's on the website, thanks!
