sure 1 or 2 hours for a fresh system. did i told you, that this notebook is almost new and the system is "fresh" ??? lokk what games are allready on this computer and then tell me how many more 1-2 hours it will need to install them again. if i had a 2 year old system and installed and deinstalled tons of programs, then i would understand your suggestion. in this case i dont understand it. all in all it is everything but not logical, taht not the smallest problem is here with this system, but only this one and only peace of software bs wont work. more funny is, that the game itself works, but the launcher wont bring the menue up ..... also in opengl mode/ single player. so what ? mess everything up, because this ??

1. Putting a new (empty) file named launcher.exe.local in your bin\stable directory dont works, same problem 2. Rename the msvc*.dll files in the bin\stable directory dont works ....... program dont starts, because a msvc file is missing .. reinstall the program says the error message

talked to our IT today. they told me that noone will be like this stupid, to setup the whole system new, only because one single game dont works. as you allready know, the bs simulation itsel works, but the launcher dont works and so i cant reach the main menue. they checked my systems and told me that it is absolute ok, without any problems. also dont installed much software, which dont belongs to windows7. again ..... all games i listed before are working properly and at a super performance, including lock on original and lock on fc2. there is absolutely no reason to destroy everything only for a try to get this one game bs working. the chance that it also wont work, after new installation is also present. the notebook is not very old an i never changed drivers, beacause all of them are the latest availible. all i did is a bios update, because toshiba released a newer one. thats all. greetings andi

ok foun d the file for the joystick. can i change the direction of the pitch ? now thrust slider forward is "pull the pitch"..... for planes ok, for heli a bad feeling, need it otherway round ....

to said that i cant reach the menue .....if i could, i would setup everything (videooption, flightcontrol system x52 and so on) and then i could fly missions with DcsMax in wich file are the keysettings ????????

all i have installed releated to adobe is adobe flashplayer 10, adobe photoshop cs2 and adobe reader 9.3.2. Windows SDK / driver developer tools : no idea what this is and where to find it DFSTRACINGON : same here... no idea what this program is and where to find it or uninstall it.

tried to follow your suggestion. dowloaded this program and arrived this step Process Name is didnt found "launcher.exe" in the list and thats why i had to stop to go forward with you suggestions :)

tried it, game start with a selected mission, if i choose a mission. but cant change to the main menue to setup options... if i end the mission, im back on theskop with this utility can i start with DCSMAX also to the mainmenue to steup keys and grafics and so on ? now that i can start the game missions with this tool, we can sue no opengl issues are the probelm ????? ... if i start without choosing a mission, i have the same problem as befor "launcher .exe" .....

no never tested it beacause i also never heard of it. dont know where to get it and dont know how to use it :)

absolute like you described. i see a picture in a window of the ka-50, also hear sound playing for 1-2 seconds and then it crashes. never saw the main menue

probier ich mal. ist es denn wirklich nur diese eine .dll oder welche gehören noch zum opengl orchester dazu ???

um nochmal deinen gedanken aufzugreifen, weil bs auf dem dell xps notebook läuft. sie hat auch windows 7 und eine hd4670 (ich 4650) ..selbe klasse und normalerweise auch selbe treiber. direct3d-version : 8.14.10.0697 bei mir direct3d-version : 8.14.10.0678 bei meiner frau (vorher hatte ich den normalen toshiba treiber, da waren die versionen die selben) opengl-Version: 6.14.10.8918 bei mir opengl-Version: 6.14.10.8784 bei meiner frau (mit meinen normalen toshiba treibern ha´tte ich eine kleinere versionsnummer als meine frau, jetzt eine höhere) wenn ich nun irgendwie die opengltreiber auf meinen rechner bekommen könnte, dann wäre das einen versuch wert. ihre atioglxx.dll datei hatte ich schonmal in einem ordner innerhalb des windows ordners ersetzt, aber nach dem neustart hatte ich immernoch dieselbe version wie vorher. nun habe ich diese atioglxx.dll datei noch in 2anderen ordnern gefunden unter windows .....aber diese lassen sich nicht ersetzten oder löschen, auch nicht im abgesicherten modus ...

yes fc2.0 was alltime installed before i tried bs to add more informations regarding this issue ...... youknow that i tested bs on my wifes notebook and it works there, but on here system there never was fc 2.0 installed.

hello, i have a question. is it possible to transfer the opgl drivers from my wifes notebook to mine ? She has a hd 4670 video card and i have a hd 4650 card so both are 4600ér series card and both notebooks have windows 7 home premium. bs works on her system and i hope tosolve the problem this way maybe. her notebook is a dell xps and she has dell drivers, so i cant use the delldrivers for my toshiba notebook as a complete install of the video drivers. greetings andi

this is not a hope ....the event viewer wont change the problem, after cleaning it, i guess im fat up now ........ tried to many hours to get it working and now im tired about it. no more ideas .......... no more tries ..... never in my life o had such problems with one software .....................enough now. i spended arround 30 hours to get this bs to work ......
