  1. The VPforce Rhino is that stick we've all been waiting for. It already has a healthy line up of orders and IMO will set the bar for others to follow.
  2. But it most definitely is gaining traction. The Rhino FFB stick has many orders in queue, not to mention the DIY builds (which I have). Not long now and I think FFB users will be making more and more requests for support from ED.
  3. I just updated OpenComposite and OpenXR and have lost hand tracking with the G2.. Anyone else?
  4. I was watching a trap video of a Hornet driver the other day on YouTube and you can definitely see him give a quick nudge forward on the stick around about where the burble is in DCS. After seeing that, I'd say DCS is pretty damn close.
  5. I read somewhere that it's projected onto the visor slightly off centre to the right. Not directly over the right eye..
  6. If you have an AMD card, the new 22.8.1 drivers seem to fix this issue.
  7. "..on the pilots visor.." I'm starting to think rendering both eyes might give a more accurate representation in VR...
  8. Is that a JHMCS helmet?
  9. I've been battling this issue also. If you disable 'use latest preview' in OpenXR Tools it'll fix the issue. Lately I've just been disabling the toolkit though and running the latest preview in OpenXR Tools. Are you on AMD or Nvidia?
  10. I think in DCS using VR, neither is entirely realistic due to the way our headsets are. But perhaps, only for the JHMCS, both eyes could pass as somewhat realistic. I guess only a real Hornet driver could answer the question
  11. The Apache I can deal with getting used to it through the right eye because the real one is a monocle over one eye.. But I *think* the JHMCS is more like an image projected on a screen which happens to be displayed to the right side.. Is it realistic though? In the real one if you closed your right eye, would you still see it with your left? To my understanding the image is just favored to the right side..
  12. In the special tab for the Hornet.
  13. No, you can change which eye to render the HMD to in with VR, or render in both eyes..
  14. What's the most "realistic" option for HMD render in VR? I've read that although in the real jet it is rendered infront of the right eye, it can be seen with both. So in that case, wouldn't it be more realistic rendered for both in VR? I'm using right eye at the moment, but it doesn't feel very natural.
  15. ....is it possible to have the Hornet changed to force based on G load atleast? At the moment it seems that it is speed based...
  16. Any chance we could get some force feedback effects added to the Hornet?
  17. Seems my issue might be related to the latest OpenXR update. Unticking the use latest preview box fixes my problem.
  18. Mine only started since I changed from an ovgme install to the new automatic system wide installation.
  19. Seems to work until I press the key combination to get into the settings menu. Only during a flight though. Functions fine in the DCS home screen.
  20. Cheers, will give it a go.
  21. Anyone getting a black screen all of sudden with Openxr toolkit? If I click the disable box or start in safe mode everything is fine, otherwise DCS boots fine, but as soon as I start a flight, the screen goes black. MSFS2020 has no problems, only DCS.
  22. Do you have videos of the Rhino in action?
  23. "Every frame" definitely has improved things
  24. I'll try that. I think at the moment I have it set to 1024, but not "every frame"
