@harryharry do you have the F14 Tomcat? I'm wondering whether the cockpit shake during flight translates through to the motion rig, or if it's just an animation in game?

My motors arrive in a few days so I should be up and running shortly.

I've just started 3d printing the parts. I'm also a racer but am interested in using the sim for DCS. I'm also going to set up a belt tensioner to simulate G's. Although probably not the best motion sim for flight sims, I think this type of motion would be excellent for cat launches, ordnance drops, landing/take offs etc. Also that shake the F14 gets when pulling some G will feel awesome in this sim!

Has there been any progress with this? Looking at building an SFX-100 rig.

Short answer. Jet auto trims for 1g flight. Manual trim is mostly effective during PA mode.

Awesome mate! Massive amounts of envy. Ex-grunt here. Unfortunately for me of a military flying career slipped through the fingers. Got the call to attend flight screening in Tamworth a few years after I left the Army, but butchered my OSB performance. Anyhow, top pics. Don't be afraid to upload some more :smilewink:

@kegetys so we do not need to enable MSAA in the DCS settings? I noticed you don't have it enabled in your settings. Awesome work. If this was just a quick attempt, I can't wait to see how you tweak it further!

I'm having the same problem as many before. Vaicom is understanding my commands, but its not communicating to DCS. Does anyone know a fix for this? I've reinstalled, deleted lua's etc., but nothing is working.

Hi Gizmo Go into the 'axis tune panel', then check the 'user curve' box. I also use a deadzone of 4.

I have a 10cm extension on a Warthog and also just started using a curve for the very centre of the x and y axis, whilst still keeping the majority of the range linear. I think it makes a huge difference and feels awesome. These are my settings: 0,4,11,22,33,44,55,66,77,88,100. Also works well for rudder pedals.
