  1. No problem :) This is more a pain than I thought it would be, but it's coming along :)
  2. lol thanks man, no problems, was a little bored anyways :)
  3. It's rough as I'm getting used to a more complex skin, but should be right...
  4. Back then maybe, but it's far different now, as you can't use a simple rangefinder as my Mark VII can't designate for a Paveway II or III, it's a coded beam that it homes on, not a simple laser pulse.
  5. Alot, sizing, putting it back together, exporting, it's still in a very raw stage right now.
  6. Okay, the F-15A/B/C/D will never have the capability. The USAF made the Strike Eagle for that purpose, and no F-15Cs have been known to have previously in any theatre seen carrying any matter of air-to-ground ordnance. As a JFO, it's my job to call in CAS, so I know for a fact I'll never get a Charlie model F-15 in my request whether it's in Iraq or Afghanistan. Also dropping a Paveway is more complicated (well it's not too difficult really) than you think, so first off, the F-15A/B/C/D models at the minimum need the required electronics to "see" the laser spot first, a la the A-10, so no it cannot even use those, as it's main function (and only) is to kill planes, and not provide any sort of ground attack capability.
  7. True enough, it's just waiting here to be used....

  9. Are you sure you named them correctly? Or did you add a skin to the selection? The way it looks.. like you just don't have any texture on there, just the 3d model..
  10. Well it's looking like... I may not be able to view it. So the deal is, that the only way to make it happen is a serious effort or somebody who will put serious effort for it. Other than that it's staying on the hard drive. Sorry I've got a lot of stuff going on, so if somebody wants it, I need to be assured somebody will take the time to get it working. The caveat.. is what you get is what you see.
  11. Yeah I'll have to actually look at the model and see what's up. Bear in mind I haven't even extracted it from the zip file. The modeller had some personal issues and couldn't continue on, so I had to acquise, but I'll see about the pics though.
  12. Yeah though it was an F model though, I don't much like the single seater, doesn't look cool enough :)
  13. Unfortunately it's pretty much dead. So I have what was "completed" so far, but there's not much hope it's going to be ressurected.
  14. RUS-PILOT.bmp should be the filename for the Russians and I think it's US-PILOT.bmp for the US. Get Modman and it has the CDDS Browser, and you can find it in one of the CDDS files, but I wouldn't quote the filenames, but should get you close.
  15. Well... you have to use the hex editor to find the files first, which when you open the .cmd file, you scroll to the bottom, where all the texture names are listed (i.e. the ones that are applied to the 3D model). The thing is though, that each model has seperate rendering techniques, so the F/A-18 model has it's own properties vis a vis the other ones, so you're not able to get the same effect on the other planes. You can edit the textures, but just won't look the same.
  16. Hex Editor, and make sure you make a backup!
  17. Agreed, you foot the bill for the plane ticket, and I'll demo it for the whole trip without sleep :)
  18. I agree, the flight control system is far more better on the A-10 anyways. I've seen them fly for real and even then it doesn't seem any different from what we experience it simulated...
  19. Inbound rep, thank you man
  20. And that's why I have to come over here. As pointed out, I don't need to rub legs, brown nose anybody. I've been in the community since Flanker 2.0 so for me to get things done is because I get things done, and that's why I had to post this here. As it says, nobody on any forum, regardless of "affiliation" or "company", wants to deal with children trying to understand the concept of banning. You read the terms and forum rules, you got to abide by them, point blank. Nobody forces anybody to come here, and quite frankly, it's pretty sad when an old hand like me remembers back on the Flanker BBS on how moderators? We needed moderators?. Sure some handling of the moderation has been over sensitive, but for Chrissakes people, grow up, be responsible for your actions. The more I deal with ruggbutt's crap, the more I deal with anybody's crap because they can't accept the fact that they can't act in the remotest sense of maturity, doesn't need to post here, or on the Ubi forums. As rockwelder pointed out, I did that post because I felt it was necessary, and even posted bulletins on Myspace, as well as the Lock On group concerning "my" forums. So if you can't accept the fact that people in this world on a daily basis don't want to deal with children on a daily basis, grow up and get thicker skins. It'll do you good for the real world out there.
  21. :) I know far too much and people on every side, to have to brown nose. I just handle my business Kolt40Five.
  22. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/38610606/m/59110528 While everybody will raise the demons for this post, in light of recent events, this update is necessary if you so choose to still visit the Ubi Soft Boards. Scroll down and thanks! Flanker562 Ubi Soft Lock On Moderator
  23. By this screenie I assumed I found it yes?
  24. Speaking of that, I need to get back flying the SuperBug again, it's been a minute...
  25. No there's a slight migration back to the Ubi boards, slowly though. Now I really gotta work :)
