  2. anyrhing really new here?
  3. I believe Heatblur will do the A-6 once they're done with the Eurofighter.
  4. Yes! The Strike Eagle was pretty great at release, so why not?
  5. Been thinking the same thing. If it is the Lynx I'll start flying choppers. Landing on a small coast guard ship in heavy wind outside Finmark... Gotta love it
  6. It doen't say its FF or even flyable. Could be AI. Edit: My bad; didn''t see the faq
  7. @connos Thanks again for keeping this alive! I've finally played through it alll, and it still works The wingmen are idiots of course and crashes whenever they can. But they're also great when I can't find the enemy when they are hiding in the forest. All in all its a great and fun campaign, well worth the time spend playing it. Also a big thanks to @Ranger79 for making this great campaign!
  8. Lasken? There's a place in Kristiansund (and probably other places as well) called Lasken. Or did you get your nick from the tool? Sorry I can't help with the squad, as I play single player (and I am a total n00b). I know there's a norwegian DCS community on facebook, and wouldn't be surprised if there's one on discord as well.
  9. Yeah, I have enabled those. Still I think two failures in 40 hours is a bit on the high side.
  10. So I'm slowly learning the A-10C II. I've been through the iron flag campaign and now I am going through the piercing fury campaign. I've logged approx 40 hours in the air so far. During the iron flag an engine just quit on me. I wasnt able to restart it, but I made it home, no problem. And now I've got an engine fire. No shots fired, but of course I wasn't able to complete the mission. I real life, how often do these things happen? I really hope they don't expect an engine failure every 20 hours or so. Guess its just my luck. I have about 120 hours in the viper, and no problem there.
  11. Looking forward to the F-5 On the other hand; This is not the first time the Apache has been on a 50% discount. I Bought it in june last year with a 50% discount.
  12. I believe @connos is keeping this one alive. That being said; I just played through mission 5 and did not have a problem with that. What version of the campaign are you playing?
  13. As much as I hate getting into this when we know little to nothing... But I read again and again that RB didn't get paid for their work. Isn't this why Ed stopped paying RB, because they didn't get paid for THEIR work? According to Nicks statement :"in breach of its contractual obligations towards our company and of our legally protected IP rights" So ED worked hard to develop the software (or whatever) and now they don't recieve the money for it. If that's the way you see it, that's quite odd. I haven't the slightest idea what's going on here, I just wish all the fanbois could stfu on both sides and stand together as a community.
  14. Kept it, and not not gonna ask for a refund. Don't fly it much, its just my way of showing support.
  15. check out the main page and eshop. Chinook is now in early access and price has gone up.
  16. Great! And now the n00b question: I can replace the .miz files, right? If I replace the .cmp file I'll have to start all over (not a big problem since I'm only on mission 2)?
  17. All right Thanks a lot! Looking forward to it! And a HUGE thanks for keeping it alive!
  18. DCS is up to date. Running MT. Downloaded the campaign a couple of weeks ago, so I'm pretty sure thats the latest. I'll try again in a couple of days. bus @Scoop said there was an AI bug with the helicopters.
  19. OK. Thanks for the info. Waiting for a fix (not holding my breath)
  20. Did you manage to complete the mission? I've got the same problem. I'm getting the message that its 60 seconds to dustoff, and then they thank me for watching their six. After that silence. I do however find a chinook with the tgp. Its on the runway, destroyd.
  21. I'm a n00b, and I generally suck at formation flying. As far as I can remember you don't have to be that close to biff (other than in the 4th of july mission where you should be glued to his wing). He did call out his speed and where he was tunring, didn't he? I usually come in way to fast, so I have to throttle all the way back, and use the airbrakes as well. For most of the campaign you'll fly lead, so there's no problem with this. I must say that Iron flag is a brilliant campaign for someone like me. Most of the missions are very long, but I kind of like that. I only have one mission left, but do I feel battle ready? Not so much... I need Iron flag part II
  22. Well, it's been discussed for 79 pages. The same stuff over and over again. Groundhog day, wasn't that a thing? @NineLine says he's got 30 more pages in him, so we'll stop at 110?
