  1. Graphics driver was good to go, I'll check the other. Thank you
  2. Thanks for the help! Does this log work? I'll double check your recommendations. dcs.log
  3. Just started happening the last few times I've logged in. Any ideas? DCS/2.5.6.55960 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.18362) C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_db678424d2641c3d\nvwgf2umx.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0C2E8C31 00:00000000 SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: '.;D:\DCS World OpenBeta;D:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\system32;SRV*C:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols;', symOptions: 530, UserName: 'pc' OS-Version: 10.0.18362 () 0x300-0x1
  4. Oh come on!! 9g's is a blast and you get a cute little pin if you don't pass out! I guess there's a reason you step out and feel like you've hit the gym for 8 hours straight after a 30 min yeehaw flight.
  5. So a nice way of saying f*** you i don't want too...

    PSVR

So I thought I'd give this VR a try. I'm using my sons PSVR for now. The issue I'm having is I can see my computer screen and the apps I have open on the bottom toolbar but when I click on them the VR isn't showing them open. I'll open DCS and on my main monitor it's just fine but through the VR it's not showing the screen. Any ideas? Thank you!
  7. Just curious, what is so wrong with the F5 that has some of you not wanting to really fly it anymore? Or perhaps what are some of the major bugs that need fixing? I'm interested in getting it but not so much after reading this.
  8. Purely a personal preference kinda thing.

    Hornet vs Viper

I used to spit shine that ol Viper canopy :) She's my choice hands down. I can't believe how good that air frame looks being that old. Side note..P51 is the King.
  10. For those with selective reading issues...Not a bad price at all, prolly will pay it just cause I support the peeps behind the scenes.
  11. Just put a face mask on the package when you send it to me then. All will be good. Seriously though, sounds like a pretty sweet upgrade and a lot of work has gone into it. What's another few $$ on top of what I already have eh?!
  12. Oh come on, I know you guys have one stuff away in a cabinet somewhere. Sharing free stuff is caring.
  13. So is this then why the pilot set his rudder trim 5 degrees before his taxoff? Just one less thing to worry about once airborne and climbing?
  14. Still...NOPE, thanks :music_whistling: unless there is a free Warthog HOTAS attached
  15. Very good, so given all that you just explained, again, why setting rudder trim at 5 degrees before takeoff and not wait until you reach a speed that would require you to make those adjustments? I'm not understanding why I see a pilot do that before he even leaves the ground and you mentioning how it's unnecessary..
  16. Wait, so you have to pay for another A10C? Haha, nope
  17. Why would the real P51 pilot then trim his aircraft 5 degrees BEFORE takeoff and keep it there until after he's airborne then? This would tell me that it absolutely is a means to provide adequate rudder deflection...:book:
  18. You would agree though that student pilots are taught to fly with the stick, not trim..?
  19. You have a weird way of expressing it then
  20. Weird...went back in with no other friendly planes around and it was still showing.
  21. I'll admit I don't understand it quite as much a you do obviously which is fine with me but now you're making the assumption that ED developers now have a basic misunderstanding of airplanes in general.. seems to be a tad unfair. How would you correct this behavior and make it more "real world"?
  22. No, that can't be it. I can track a tanker or lock him and his callsign would be Texaco..or Arco. This happens on an aerobatic server as well so I doubt any other Viper or Hornet is locking up random targets. Only happens with the FCR, contacts on the HSD don't show the ED sign.
  23. Eh that's debatable. Perfection does exist it just depends on where you apply it. I can be perfect at paying my bills or brushing my teeth ha. I get what you're saying though but that doesn't mean you can't strive for the best possible experience. I think in the early days of DCS, a lot of attention was paid to the mechanical side of things but now with their increase in manpower, perhaps budget, experience, etc we are seeing their abilities to branch out and "perfect" other aspects that entail a combat sim. When we start criticizing the small details like elevator control at 1g, then IMO that becomes a little ridiculous.
  24. After watching Overkill's tutorial I went back in to fart around with the radar and noticed that when contacts pop up, an ED with a corresponding number shows above it. It looks something like ED41 or ED31, etc. Any idea what that means? I've been told it might be a datalink track identifier but we're not too sure.
