Well @Flappie and @jurinko I just got it sorted out... First thing I did was tweak my NVCP settings. Used this video by @JUICE-AWG from the Air Warfare Group and that helped a lot to tweak my settings(never had the 30fps issue)...but it turns out I needed a BIOS update, not sure why it only gave grief now but such is the voodoo of pc's, and to activate "Resizable Bar" in the BIOS... PC is hitting Mach 2 and still accelerating...

@FlappieNo onboard graphics, only the 3090. I had already tried the fix by linebacker before I posted here with no effect. I have lowered the quality of all my settings, tried to disable hot plug, tried it with and without head-tracking (both FacetrackNoIR and AItrack/opentrack), tweaked my nvcp settings... Like I said...everything was flawless on max settings before this update...now it wont even run when I dial it back...

Hi @Flappie I am having the exact same issues. Constant stutters of up to 3 or 4 seconds, sometimes more, for no reason, on missions that worked flawlessly for 100's of hours before this latest patch. I just spent 2 days trying everything I could find in the forums and even a full pc format...No change whatsoever. So I hope these attached items help... The lines are explained in the kneeboard, just after the counter measures chart, and so far, all 11 I have flown have this in the kneeboard. Hope it helps. null I import the kneeboard pdf files into my tablet and write directly on them. Works like a dream! Would've been cool to have a couple dedicated 9line cards in the kneeboard for this though...

Hey everyone. First off, apologies if this has been answered but I have been googling and searching the forum without any luck. Just picked up the A10Cll in the wallet murdering sale (worth it!) and I am having a bit of trouble... I have 4 of the TM Cougar MFDs, In the Hornet I have them for left, right and center with the 4th as a button box mounted to a second screen. But when trying to bind them, I see 2 of the 4 are greyed out in both the A10C and A10Cll. Is there any way to get them working? Thanks in advance!

Sadly Mission 8 still freezes and I have to force quit the games within 40nm of Mother. Just flew mission 12, everything worked until I was within 40nm of the get well point and then it did the same as Mission 8. Seems the Tomcats are a curse in DCS at this point

Just flew the mission after the latest update and still getting the freeze. This time it happened 37.2m from Mother after watching Red land. 1h26min into the mission. Luckily everything up to that point is amazing and fun to fly so I don't mind re-flying it regularly

Hi @baltic_dragon I seem to be having the exact same, or extremely similar issue that Roosterfeet is having. I have made 10 attempts now, 9 of them crashed to desktop between 67 and 50 miles out from Mother, the 10th crashed +-20miles out from the Tanker (Hoped tanking would make a difference). All other aspects of the mission work flawlessly except for a strange black screen that appears to block out my forward view, the whole screen goes black until I look around a bit, then it clears up. This only happens over the target area while orbiting and waiting for the second set of targets, and it happens every time. 3 Missions were flown after the initial release. 3 after patch 2.7.16.27869. 3 after patch 2.7.16.28111. 1 after Hotfix patch 2.7.16.28157 (Tonight). After patch 2.7.16.27869 I removed all these mods: ReShade, VNAO T45, Tactical AWACS, 476 Range Targets, China Assets Pack. After patch 2.7.16.28111 I went further and also removed Tacview, did a deep repair and Re-Installed All my campaigns. I made sure to clear my fxo and metashaders2 folders after each update. Currently I have the following DCS items installed: F/A-18C, F-14, Super Carrier, Marianas, Nevada, Persian Gulf, Syria, Operation Cerberus North, Raven One and Raven One - Dominant Fury. I am running the following DCS Related items in the background: - DCS Bios - To run my Logitec Flight Panel - PW-Dev Script/LUA to run my DCS UFC app on my tablet - Matric - Runs a digital button box on my tablet (Similar to GameGlass) - SRS is open in background - Facetrack NoIR head-tracking - My custom display setup LUA On another screen I have Adobe Acrobat reader open for the kneeboard pdf's and Smart PSS to keep an eye on our home security cameras and sometimes Discord I have the logs from 4 mission after patch 2.7.16.27869 that I have attached. Hi @swaps Below are links to 2 videos that helped with my facetrackNOIR issues. These were done by Juice over at the Air Warfare Group. In the one there is a link to an update for the program as well as the profile that Juice uses and the second talks about adding curves in DCS to help further. (There are a couple more videos in the playlist I shared these from but these 2 consolidate all of the info as far as I can remember) I followed these and it works like a dream most of the time for me. I am also running a 32inch monitor which I have on a raised mount, so the center of the screen is eye level and the camera mounted underneath looking upwards at a bit of an angle. I am using a less than brilliant Logitech C310 HD Webcam and it gets the job done. Hope these help you as much as they helped me!

I found the target purely by accident on this one, but couldn't get my line up correct so I just bombed him anyway... that JTAC was not impressed(which impressed me!). Hurt the score quite a bit but was still an awesome mission. Now, mission 9, that one beat me up proper a few times before I completed it on the 4th attempt. Such an awesome mission. So glad there are tankers around, almost didn't make it but it was my own fault not keeping a better eye on my speed and fuel flow.

Ok, freshest possible review of Mission 1, I just landed and shut down my jet. Got a score of 94, I blame my approach for that...don't know the Syria map at all so need to get to know the landmarks. My thoughts... For a 1st mission of a campaign, it's an amazing start, just the right amount of getting to know the way things are done and getting a feel for the situation. The dialogue is amazing, doesn't feel forced and flows beautifully. The immersion is great! 1hr 30min and not a second of boredom!! The only issue I had was approaching WP1, lead flew away from me and I had to burn a lot of gas catching up, maybe an additional orbit by lead after the trigger would have been great...I also suck at re-joining so take that with a huge bag of salt. 1) Will I be playing this mission over and over until the release of the campaign? HELL YEAH! 2) Will I buy this campaign the moment it's available? I would buy it yesterday if could! 3) Would I invest the time and money to learn the A10 and F16 to play your other campaigns if I could, HELL YEAH if they are remotely as good as this one mission! I haven't been this excited for anything DCS since Raven One, and that is a damn high bar to reach, and you have reached that level of stoke! Well done @ChillNG, bloody well done! Also, just to add, the level of detail in the mission documentation and SPINS, the amount of thought and planning, INCREDIBLE!

Watching that again... This campaign is no longer a "want", it's officially a NEED to have.

Tested this twice last night (I suck at carrier landings and met the ramp with a bang on the first try), Smoke did the tapes on call perfectly both times for me. But with the updated mission file you uploaded, he doesn't start the mission correctly. Smoke starts up and takes off before I even get my INS aligned, he does not wait for the radio check. Luckily he just orbits and joins up at WP1. So the follow trigger seems to be working even though the mission notes say you should get in the air before him. Really enjoyed this mission though, the weather at the start and the lighting is just incredible... EDIT: The chatter about Saint and the events of the previous mission don't trigger at all. On both tries. The first tanker also spawns much earlier and you only catch up to it almost at the next waypoint. Previously it would spawn and you would have visual as you approach WP2.

Hi @baltic_dragon I am busy with my first playthrough and wow, what an amazing campaign so far. I am not sure if this is a bug, but when trying to set the A/A TACAN for the wingmen, nothing happens. It works perfectly for TEXACO and all the AAR aircraft. I am now on Mission 10 and have not got it to work in a single mission so far. Hope it's an easy fix!

Started my first play through of this amazing campaign yesterday and did this mission 4 times and had the same issue. There also seems to be an issue with the radio chatter, I only got the discussion about Saint on one of those rounds. Either way, it was great AAR practice so that's a win! Hope it's an easy fix for you guys!

Thanks everyone! Got it looking and working beautifully now. Set the default view up to line up the Center with my HUD and it looks awesome. And works beautifully when I activate my head-tracking!

Hi everyone. Fairly new to DCS and the Hornet, After searching as best I could, I can't seem to figure this one out. When I activate the HMD it centers just below the HUD(See image). Is it not supposed to center with the HUD and is there any way to adjust this? It feels off when I look around. I have tried raising the camera, but then can't read the HUD. Any help would be appreciated! This happens with or without Head-tracking enabled so it's not caused by that as far as I can tell. Bonus question... is there anyway to make the HMD more readable? Boost the size/font?
