DCS aircraft database. Dates, equipment, capabilities.
SaxonRaider replied to some1's topic in DCS 2.9
This is a great spreadsheet well done. I was wondering if it would be possible to add Range to Airframe data, for example, Ferry Range, With External Tanks, and Combat range. Like what is listed on wikipedia. It would be handy for mission creation. Thanks again!. -

We Want To Hear Your Ideas For A New Map In DCS!
SaxonRaider replied to danielzambaux's topic in DLC Map Wish List
I vote for Vietnam or Korea -
Thanks, so basically, if its same performance as Syria, I'll be happy with that. If as you say it may be better than Syria. It's a must buy for me. Thanks for answering that, saved me downloading for 6 hours or so only to delete it again right after. Cheers!

really interested in this map coming up in the lunar new year sale on steam. wondered how it would run if I have a 1650 Super and 16bg ram ? I normally get 50 fps on all other maps, even syria, just dips to around 45fps. Am i looking at less than 20fps here?

How important is a pair of rudder pedals
SaxonRaider replied to foxonefoxtwo's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
Fantastic thank you for taking time to describe this, I will give it a go! -
I have a question, maybe Bignewy can help with? Will the Steam pre-order discount be extended again after 27th JAN to the new release date? As i havent yet bought it, and would like to buy more modules while I wait, then buy apache nearer the release date , thanks

How important is a pair of rudder pedals
SaxonRaider replied to foxonefoxtwo's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
Thanks Guys above for answering my question. Diesel I also have an X45 on top of my wardrobe in a box, on standby just in case :D, it actually still works great!, better quality than than the X52pro, but of course not as good features. I will try using my G29 pedals then thanks, i think maybe i can merge the axis's together somehow. I will try it out soon. Thanks Again! -
How important is a pair of rudder pedals
SaxonRaider replied to foxonefoxtwo's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
I have a G29 Wheel, Pedals, shifter. for racing. Could I use those pedals for the rudder? Would it behave similar? -
I was using the slider, I have the same issues with that, but all my rotaries are fine. I did notice that if you make a profile, its possible in the software to alter the saturation of the axis, which helps, but i still find it wont eliminate it. also, by making a profile you lose the pinkie trigger button as it gets used as a latch rather than a button. i use that pinkie trigger a lot as its ideal position for wheel brake / NWS on the runway, being on the stick you can use rudder fine with it, feels natural to do.

Just bought the module today and found these giant spikes flying around outside the cockpit. I nearly refunded it. Till I saw this thread. The fix to this is just to make sure you have the flight stick visible, if you hide it you get these spikes everywhere. This is the worst module I own for Graphic bugs by far, quite a few little places around the cockpit edges are flickery. A little disappointed as the C101CC seems like a better deal as it doesnt have any issues im aware of.
