I have been flying other modules for a while. So I was sure I damaged the plane at take of. Landed and asked for repairs. Still back in the air heavy vibrations , but went to firing range and had my fun. But I guess I know how drivers feel in the new F1 cars.

+1 OP . When trying to slow from 100 knots to a hover. I often make a Force trim mistake. And it snowballs when I try to correct it. I make it worse. Hitting Ctrl+T , hoping to neutralize my mistakes Until I end up upside down and chrash. Still love this module , Its beautifully made and I dont mind that its a hard Bronco to break

@Baz000 Yes its really well done. Adds a lot. And now thanks to your vid , I recognize " kneel and hook " to . They really did a great job here I think.

Used to work at a Shipyard. We used hands to signal crane operators a lot. There where rules to follow there to. This is really perfect , it works great and adds realism . Thanks for the vids spider

This forum is a pure Goldmine, been having that problem for 2 days . Thanks guys. Also made my first carrier landing today. So not a bad day at all

@Baz000 Thx that was it you are a champ , I was scrambling through whatever I could find on hand signals. No going further forward, as soon as I spread the wings the crew sprung into action. @MAXsenna Thx for youre advise to - they actually told me to roll just a bit forward , so you where right to - Keep the blue side up spider

In the F 14 carrier take off lesson. Its "U" to hook up. Then "L+shift U" to salute and launch. But I cant do it on any other ship so far. But yes I noticed that option in the F 10 radio menu. But I was not near the launch bar when I tried it. I will immediately go back and try again.

Im a total newbie to the F 14. I seem to have a problem only on supercarriers , where there is a crew visible. I cant get them to hook me to catapult. No problem in the training lesson. I can do it fine. When I go to that same spot at launch bar , careful to be aligned and all. But pressing " U " , nothing happens. They just stand there. But whenever I try it on " The Stennis" - the one without visible crew - I get hooked Anyone else have this problem? Happy Landings spider

I came here stuck at mission 23. With the same frustration. This "campaign" starts of very good. Challenges makes sense. There are not easy and actually helps you learn alot. But then towards the end with the weapons challenges it suddenly becomes ridicoulos difficult. Trolling like task that seems impossible to do. I dont for a second believe anybody did this campaign without "cheating" in the end. And then all you gained and the satisfaction of completing is gone. For now will take a pause from this campaign. Not sure if I will progress any further than 22 missions

Came here to give my Thanks for this awesome Campaign. DesertDog says is so well I want to shout hear hear. I have just crash landed at Detling after my first mission - mission 2- everything else went perfect . And the mission was a blast. Magnificent. Just need to pratice landing on small grass fields. But wow , I rate this campaign 10/10

Huge Thanks to Reflected. I tested your Engine and airspeed advise. And It worked like a charm. Again you where spot on. My settings, auto cooler mixture etc. was correct. BUT if I keep my airspeed above 200 Mph, and not drop it to 160 mph at all - like i did before - . It climbs to 23 000 Ft. like a rocket now -compared to before-. And I did not have to lower RPM once. Tried it just now using not under 2700 RPM and 46 " pressure. All the way. And now I can actually arrive to early at the Rendevouz with the bombers. Yes sir. You where spot on with the radio, I had the comms menu. But forgot to map the comms push button. Thanks a lot And now i am convinced youre right about my engine management to. I have been trying with lower RPM and pressure. That was proberly a mistake , and everytime my airspeed has dropped to low also. Cant thank you enough for the advise . And I just found the wall paper Its really great.

Hi Reflected thx for the great Campaign. And warp speed reply. As I feared its mostly me being newbie in the P 51 D. I am currently on mission 3. The First Bomber escort. But had the climbing problem in both 2 and 3. 1. Yes I think you are correct , I may have made the mistake of confusing those Radio buttons. Thank you 2. If you just did it , then everything works fine. The problem must be somewhere between my PC and my Chair. 3. I do monitor my engine instruments a lot. Keeping the needles in green RPM and MP . And yes I do have mixture on auto rich, coolers on auto. But maybe I can do better. My trimming I do struggle a bit with, so maybe thats something to work on. Thank you for the reply and help

I am having a hard time doing this campaign. Getting to alttitude is never going to happen. With my best effort I get to the party late and 3000 ft. to low. When the enemy then drops down to figth. My Fligth never helps. Radio options are gone ,No way I can make my wingmen help. Even with 4 enemys on my tail firing , I have my flight right there in formation with drop tanks. Studied as much I could on the P 51 D engine settings. But it seems a bit hopeless to try to keep up. And must admit, sometimes I start to root for the German fighters to shoot down my Flight. I love this Sim, been flying the A 10 C for years. I kind of hope its a bug or something because if not. Its me being to bad to fly Mustangs.

Just want to confirm that this works. I had my wing man shoot down the Mi 8 when he calls it out. -Remember to equip AIM 9s- And then the rest of the mission works once you reach next waypoint. Thanks I would never had thougth of that. And also Thx/thumps up to Baltic Dragon for an awesome campaign.
