  1. I have both Twitter and Facebook accounts but I almost never use them myself. So another person that falls into the same group as you quinncidence, though in a slightly different way :).
  2. Nice video, keep them coming.
  3. Well, according to this thread another company is releasing an F-16 simulator. Don't know whether that is true or not though.
  4. Remember that the A-10C is not like the other fast movers. So as has been stated above try to make sure that you don't come in too fast. Don't worry if the indicated airspeed (IAS) is significantly lower than the ones that you are used to if you fly other fighter jet simulations. Watch your angle of attack (AOA) when landing, not your IAS, and your glide slope. That's certainly the way I do it and many others as well, if not all of them, from what I've read.
  5. We'll see what will happen won't we :).
  6. Looking good guys.
  7. Yeah, the A-10C does require constant trimming doesn't it. Something that hopefully won't be required for the aircraft of the next DCS module.
  8. True :), and if I'm not mistaken, like you said, all of the moderators are also testers.
  9. Yes, you're right Kuky :). But then revalence was talking about the moderators.
  10. Well according to their posts though they also don't know themselves at this stage.
  11. I have an X-65F myself and the joystick is not perfectly centered either. It would be great if Saitek release a new driver in the future that will fix that problem. Having said that though I have never encountered any other problem with the HOTAS and so far I think it is somewhere between a good to very good system. Though it could do with improvements. I'm a bit worried myself when I read that there is lack of support from Saitek but fortunately so far I haven't required any.
  12. Hmm, if no differences were made it either means that my guesses are wrong or the code that was pointed out by aaron886 is not the code that controls head movement by g-forces or the combination of both. Sorry Crunch, as I can't suggest anything else at the moment. It would be great if any of the ED team point us to the Lua code that does that if there is such code. Or ED could make it an adjustable option for DCS in future patch as Crunch has suggested :).
  13. I rarely use rockets as well for the reasons that have been mentioned.
  14. Not a bad idea A10FAN and S77th.
  15. As with these people I also think that it would have been better if it is any of the super hornets. But then that might not be possible given the informations that are still classified concerning those aircrafts. It's all just speculations though at the moment :).
  16. Hi Crunch, if my guesses are right if you multiply the -0.25, 0.4 and 45.0 in the code below by any value that is less than 1.0 the head movement should be reduced. local hAngle = -0.25 * r local vAngle = math.min(math.max(0.0, 0.4 * tang + 45.0 * omz), 90.0) My guesses are that changing -0.25 will affect how much the head will roll while changing 0.4 and 45.0 will affect how much the head will pitch up or down. I could be wrong though but you can try experimenting with different values and see what happen.
  17. Interesting indeed :).
  18. Probably there's a safety mechanism that will prevent you from being able to do that while you are inverted.
  19. That's very strange. Try posting the track file Akilez so that one of us here can have a look at it. It appears that EtherialN and GGTharos beat me to it :).
  20. Those instruction videos will be nice to have :). I think that if you don't change it to CCRP in the profile page, when you switch to CCRP master mode CCRP won't work properly, if at all. But then I could be wrong. Probably someone else can give a definite answer.
  21. True, and perhaps there are other problems as well that would need to be considered to make skipping possible.
  22. Hi StrongHarm, I agree with you actually in that no one should think to be able to be proficient in this sim without reading the manual at all or other materials that is not covered by the manual even. I certainly wasn't trying to argue one or the other (in this case the manual or the training missions and videos of them). What I was trying to say is simply that it would be nice if ED also posts videos of the training missions, like what has been done for Black Shark, to provide a way for anyone to quickly review what they have learned before in any of the training missions by being able to quickly jump to certain points of the training missions. Like what StrongHarm said, I also encourage everyone that want to be good at this sim to give the manual a read and other materials that may be relevant as well when they can. Because there are so many things that are not covered in those training missions :).
  23. Yes, videos of the training missions would be nice. Something that I have suggested in another thread as quoted below.
  24. Thoughts anyone?
