Hello everyone, I have purchased DCS:A-10 Beta and consequently run out of hat switches on my X52 :cry:. So now I have to purchase TrackIR :D. I was wondering from those of you who have it, is the Track Clip Pro worth getting? It will save me about half the price if I order it at the same time. Thanks Guys, and happy flying!:pilotfly:

When instead of using something simple like an AIM-9 or the GAU-8/A you resort to bombs for your air-to-air kills.....:music_whistling: (Killing yourself count's as an air-to-air kill right?):doh:

Regarding textures and video memory, you aren't really going to notice a difference, unless you have a 4Gb 5970 or Nvidias equivalent, but at that point your probably running the game so fast you won't notice anyways (and assuming the textures are large enough to fill up more than 2Gb, which I doubt). Now the 64-bit application for system memory allows more memory for things like triggers in missions, physics, etc...

For those that have not seen this game yet, or never played the older ones, they are releasing all the games from the X series in the X Superbox. It's on sale at steam for $35.99 a steal of a price! http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6330/

Why oh why did you have to tell me this? I'm sitting here thinking it's $500(because that's what everyone has been saying)and trying my hardest to put the wallet away, and you come around and tell me it's $100 cheaper, I hate you :D

I'm much more of a hands on learner. So I fly while looking at the manual on my laptop, then when I want to learn a system I can push all the buttons and see what I'm doing without being lost.

After I first got the sim I loaded up a random mission were she was already started. Proceded to apply full thrust, and some wind started moving me left so I applied right rudder only to go farther left. So I'm thinking we need more rudder, at the same time I keep going farther and farther left. Finally I realize my pedals are reversed as I'm at the edge of the runway. Well I jam the rudder left (still had NWS enabled at about 110kt) she proceded to tip over and take the left wing out, then dropped the right wing and lost that one also, somehow tearing the gear off as well.... All in all it was a great first flight :doh:

The first time I landed it went off without a hitch, that is until I was on the runway and had no idea what the key for the brakes were :megalol:

I feel like a kid trying to fall asleep until Santa comes tomorrow, except Santa is A-10C and tomorrow is a month or two lol!

If I remember correctly, in the promo video's credits he thanks someone else for flying with him. So I assume all the formation shots were done in multiplayer. I am also assuming it will be just like Blackshark is. You will be flight lead unless the mission designer puts you else where.

Hello everyone I have got a (hopefully) easy question. I have eyefinity on 3 monitors. I have edited my: view.lua options.lua Well now everything is at the correct angle however, this is what I get ingame: It will do this with everything, trees, buildings, rockets, bullet spray, etc... Any ideas?

I would recommend watching the producers notes from the website, they have helped me more than anything!

Sure just copy the black shark folder like you would any other way from ...\Steam\steamapps\common\ or wherever it installs black shark to.

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner. I also have eyefinity running at a resolution of 5120*1200. I have done everything you have, aside from track ir because I don't have it. Are you getting weird draw distances on your side monitors? Ex:

There was a game I played a while ago called X3 Terran Conflict. Recently in one of the updates to the game they added what they call "steam support" achievements and whatever else. The big thing though is that they allowed you to add your key and activate it on steam, they also allowed their previous game X3 Reunion(one they don't even work on anymore)to do the same thing. So it's definitely possible however, whats the cost? If it ends up being to much money well then so be it. I understand ED is not out to loose money.

Hello all I'm hoping this is the right spot to post this, if not I apologize! According to this http://store.steampowered.com/news/4052/ steam now offers Black Shark on steam. I bought my copy from direct 2 drive. I am wondering if in the future, it will be possible to add my key to steam and activate it on there? Thanks! P.S I am gonna need a new keyboard, my F5 key is worn out already waiting for A-10 :lol:
