Potential mistake in MiG-29A FAQ about R-27ER and R-27ET
apolloace replied to quantum97's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Since you are on the ED Team, how long since we get the first glimpse of the Mig29 from Wags? Not looking at a release date, but some kind of an update. -
Potential mistake in MiG-29A FAQ about R-27ER and R-27ET
apolloace replied to quantum97's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
The Mig29A in game is very limited in capability in all aspects compared to western counterparts. An ER/ET won't Harm anybody, if you know what i mean. -
Everything has gotten cold about this module since pre-purchase. We will be lucky if this releases in 2025.

Q2, huh. Does not look like they are gonna make it. Early Q3 maybe.
-
-
Maybe a Bad Question, but normally how long does a module stay on Pre-Purchase before it is released?
-
We have the Mirage2000, Mig29A(coming), Mig21 on Indian side & F16, JF17 on Pakistani side. Also more Chinese assets coming from Deka.

Precision Strike mod needed for legacy Russian planes
apolloace replied to apolloace's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I do not know why this is such a problem. We already have FC3 type modules of gamers in DCS, which is semi-realistic. If you want it to be a simulation you have one, if you want it to be a game you also got options. So why not an official mod for legacy Russian aircrafts for precise ground strikes? -
Precision Strike mod needed for legacy Russian planes
apolloace posted a topic in DCS Core Wish List
Since we have a lot of legacy Russian planes in DCS now (Mig29A incoming), ED can develop some kind of Precision Strike kit as official mod to enhance their secondary strike capability in the form of add-ons. Otherwise these planes are way behind the curve when compared to western counterparts. For example : We can have some kind of generic laser targeting pod, with legacy Russian laser giuded bombs as a limited capability. Hyper-realistic players can ignore the mod, but for people like us part-timers it will be a great add on. -
A cold start video from Wags would be nice, while we wait for the EA release.

It is "KASHMIR". Get your spelling right bro.
-
Just a "SPAT". There was 100+ aircraft furball on day 1, with multiple aircraft types going down on both sides. The largest BVR engagement in recent history. More interesting than the one-sided strikes in the Middle-East.
-
The last century's worth of history was not enough for someone(the developers) to make a map, or they thought that way. Otherwise we would have already had one.
-
Ok, now can we get an Northern India Map in DCS, with the map stretching from East to West? There is more than enough reason now.
-
ED sure knows how to disappoint it's loyal followers. I have been with you since Flanker 2.0. If you are not ready sir, then why did you announce at the beginning of the year that "Mig29A coming in 2024". We are aware that a module like this takes time, but you should have known better.
-
So, you have the F15E code?
-
Wild Theory : Maybe the advance nature of the F15E A-G Radar spooked everyone and acted as a catalyst which started this mess. Sorry moderators, just my theory.
-
After this Razbam-ED fiasco, I will be very wary of getting 3rd party products. The current dispute is not very good marketing for the future of DCS as well. From now on I will only stick to ED maps & modules.

Any news of the AGM 130 coming to the Strike Eagle? The AGM 130 is already available in the game. Seen it in the encyclopedia. Hopefully not long now.

Another interesting video.
