No the problem is not solved. "Lack of Wingman Command" issues are general. Agree with Ironman, there is no point in arguing, when you are not able get your point across.

"You have to send 3, then send 4." Well how do you send 4? Which command? If you use F1 for Flight, you send all of them. Then have to call back the ones you need to stay with the formation. Really irritating. Surely the AI is way behind the whole sim.

Ok, I am the 1st aircraft of a four ship formation. I give command to wingman 2 : the 2nd aircraft reacts. I give command to wingman 3 : the 3rd aircraft reacts. But how do you communicate with the 4th aircraft then?? There are no commands. The 4th aircraft does not react until & unless I press F1 for the whole flight. Then everybody reacts and it messes up the formation. I want the 3rd & 4th aircraft to go search for bandits, and 2nd aircraft to stay with me(the lead). How do I do that??

But how can you do basic comms with AI Wingman-4, like the other 2 wingman?

In SP missions, with 3 AI wingmans, how do you communicate with wingman-4. I am communicating with wingman-3 to engage a target, but wingman-4 does not follow his lead(wingman-3). He continues as it is. I do not use the Flight command as I want wingman-2 to stay with me. :helpsmilie:

Your CPU is pretty good. Why do you want to replace it? DCS is not a CPU hungry game.

Wild Weasels are not a thing. It is an aircraft configured as a Radar hunting one, with Anti-Radar missiles. I think it is already possible in DCS with a few aircrafts.

Yeah, just had the 2.5.6 on the Stable now. Flying over the Persian Gulf at night is a blast. Excellent. Now all I want to do is fly night missions. Supercarrier - T/O & landing was impressive. One thing, was there a change in Hornet FM from 2.5.5? Feels a bit different with autoflaps on.

My connection is not slow. Its fast, but most of the times the speed on ED servers comes down to 400 kbps. That is the problem. So the download took more than 4 hrs. I think IMACKEN also experienced the same problem.

Hey ED, with my 16 MBPS connection, it took me 4 hrs. 45 mins. to download the Stable 2.5.6 update (18.7 GB). Kindly correct the DL speed ED. Thanks.

Already did that Sir, while trying to download Open Beta few days back. Could not complete the download, because of the speed. Nothing improved. The DL speeds are still pathetic(220-230kbps). :helpsmilie:

Hey ED, can we get the torrent downloads back. Since I live in a part of the world, where DL speeds are not great, it is a real pain downloading 50 GB of 2.5.6 Update.

I am from India. I am trying a fresh openbeta install. The download speeds here are pretty horrific. Not possible without torrents. Kindly enable torrents. :helpsmilie:
