Hi dragon, I have tried "RookieTerrorists", it was fun! :D however, I have not been able to finish the mission, I always get shot in the middle of it. :( I have already tried to fly low under 50m, and shoot from safe distance. However, flying in the valley, sometimes do not give me space to shoot from safe distance, when i find the target, it is already too close, they can fire back, And the wingman is rather useless, he always get shot down. So what should be the tactics here? Please advise.

Hi Guys, I will install win7 64bit into my system, but I keep my XP for my old games. so I will have 2 operating system on my computer. I have installed DCSBS and LOFC2 into my XP. Will the current XP install work with the new win7? If possible, I do not want to install again, since last time I installed then patched, it took a lot of time and error and the system hangs a lot during patching. It worked finally after a lot of trial and error, but if possible I do not want to do it all over again. So please let me know what is my option here? Can I use the current xp install under win7? What should I do? Should I edit the registry or what? Please advise. Thanks.

hi dragon, I have switch the weapon-control-mode to MANUALLY, and it works! :D I can hit the target at 9-9.5km. however, there is another problem: even using 23x zoom, I find the target too small, so it is very hard to put the marker exactly on the target. It takes about 2 or 3 vikhr to finally get a hit. is this the correct way to do it?

I manage to play the video file using VLC player at 1/4 speed, however, I find it too choppy. so the track file will be good if you can upload it thanks. :D

Hi dragon, your "Standard weapons, hard difficulty" training mission is, as you say: hard, but it is fun. :D I managed to kill 2 roland, but I get hit by the 3rd. do you have some tips on how to deal with it more successfully?

Hi Cosmo81, I have the same exact problem as yours: after I have locked a target, then push F8, but nothing happens. Does F8 ever work? How do you solve this?

thanks for all the track files especially ZquickSilverZ and pingo. I learn a lot from watching yours. :thumbup: However, it seems that both of you fly in no wind condition. How about making some track files in bad weather / windy condition? I find it much harder to fly and trim in those weather. Any tips? :helpsmilie:

no need to uninstall, instead you can run setup.exe straight from the dvd, and install to a different directory.

hi dragon, thanks a lot for these excellent training missions. they are very useful for beginner like me :D I really appreciate them very much. sorry if this is a noob question: each of your missions seems to have 3 version: easy, medium, hard or 3 different routes. can you tell me how to access the waypoints for each version?

I was thinking about buying TrackIR, however their company policy not to support their own old products and their monopolistic behaviour really piss me off. http://naturalpointofview.blogspot.com/ So I try freetrack instead. Now I use it with my DCSBS, and I am perfectly satisfied with it. And also, I can use it for clicking the cockpit buttons with no problem at all, although my fps is around 0-60.

is it possible to do the second install after I patched my first install to v1.0.2? maybe edit the registry? please help. the reason I do not want to delete my current install is: it took multiple attempts to patch mine to v1.0.2 successfully, most of them hangs mysteriously, and the last one which succeded, I think I got lucky but I don't think I would like to repeat that. and also it took more than an hour to finish. so if this is possible please let me know how. thanks.
