Hi Guys, I am thinking about getting a new monitor or big tv for playing dcs. which one is better? I like big 60" 4k tv for the immersion, but some people says that pc monitor is still the better choice. For cpu and gpu, I plan to get i7-6700K and gtx980ti. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks.

these 2 options are about the same price. which one is better for dcs: i5-6600k & gtx 980 or i7-6700k & gtx 970 I am thinking of playing 4k in the near future. can dcs use better CPU better or better GPU? please advise.

with the current dcs (v.1.2.14), does it still use 2 thread? my cpu is i3 oveclocked ro 4.4Ghz. so there will be no significant improvement if I upgrade it to i5 or i7?

Hi Guys, I am thinking about installing all my DCS World into new system. Since my BS2 is the upgrade module, with the latest version of DCS World (1.2.14), do I still need to install the first BS before I install the module? or now it is not needed anymore (like FC2) ? Please advise.

this is the second time happens to my dcs. first when I update to 1.2.11. but that time was corrected by deleting factory.lua in dxgui/bind, then run dcs_updater.exe repair. now I can not find factory.lua in dxgui/bind.

Hi Guys, Yesterday after updating to the latest version, now my dcs world won't start. I have run dcs_updater.exe repair in cmd, but the problem remains. when I run dcs world, it seems only the updater works, checks for the new version, then nothing, no error at all So how do you fix it? Please advise.

I have a very bad experience with tm warthog, so if you ask me, I say don't ever buy anything with thrustmaster brand on it.

I am still using my CH flightstick pro, fighterstick, pro throttle and pro pedals. all were gameport version which I have converted them into usb using mmjoy, and changing all the pots into hall sensor. I have used them since 1990s, so now they are about 20 years old. I agree they are somewhat outdated now, that's why I bought TM Warthog, but they still do the job, which my 2 weeks warthog can not.

your experience is somewhat similar to mine. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135754 it seem TM uses lots of bad quality parts which has a very short life or very bad QC, and to make matter worse, they do not have the spare parts themselves and they do not care to have it.

Hi Guys, I have just got my Thrustmaster Warthog 2 weeks ago from PC Case Gear, Australia. I asked my nephew who is studying there to order one for me. He is the one who bring it home to me. (I am in Indonesia) After trying it for a few hours suddenly I notice Z and Rz axis are not working (not detected). The other axis: slider and mini mouse (X&Y) and the buttons are detected. Since now my nephew is home for summer vacation, and won't get back to school until next february, I decided to ask TM for assistance.. I have emailed them on Dec 3, 2014 and I told them since the beginning that I am from Indonesia and I ordered it from PC Case Gear Australia. And on my reply dated Dec 10, 2014 I have sent them the invoice and my Indonesian address. and they replied: Dec 9, 2014 Dec 10, 2014 Dec 11, 2014 then: Dec 12, 2014 then after I replied, today I get this: What a joke, they should say from the beginning that they do not have the spare parts to spare and WTF is "manufacture warranty is not applied"? if I am not under warranty they also should say so from the beginning. That is it. I never buy anything with Thrustmaster brand anymore. TM should know that in the 1990s I bought CH Flightstick Pro in USA, while I was studying there, then I brought it home to Indonesia. After 3-4 years, the pots spiked, then I contacted CH Products, then they send me the pots right away, no questions asked and no charge. That is what I called "good warranty and service". Not like them, after they asked for almost everything: the invoice, pictures of this and that, and please make video etc and in the end, they do not want to be held responsible, hiding behind legal technicalities. what a waste of time.

I have uninstalled target, and reinstall driver 23 for the throttle, but the problem remains: z and rz axis are still not detected I have also contacted TM yesterday, but so far there is no reply, How long does it usually take for them to reply?

how do you remove Tm driver? by uninstalling target?

yes, I did activate stock profiles that come from target installation. I tried blackshark and dcs f-15. I think both profiles use z and rz axis. in windows control panel actually, I have tried both: - thrustmaster combined (when script is running) - joystick and throttle - hotas warthog (script is off) in both setting, now z and rz axis are not detected. do you know what is wrong?

The other axis: slider and mini mouse (X&Y) and the buttons are detected. Now, if I look at Control Panel > game controller > warthog throttle: Z and Rz axis are not detected. Yesterday, before I install TARGET, both Z and Rz axis were OK. Do I get a faulty product or did I do something wrong here? Anyone with warthog has this kind of problems before? Please help.

after doing some googling on the net, some people say that the min ram requirement of 1.2.11 is 6gb, is this correct? my ram is 4gb. is that the culprit? so 1.2.11 won't start with 4gb ram?

Hi Guys, My old DCS World v.1.2.7 works fine on my system. Then yesterday I decide to add Flaming Cliff 3, so I must update my DCS World to 1.2.11 first. But after updating successfully to 1.2.11, I find Launcher.exe does not work properly. I just get a small blank black window, then it is gone. No error message at all. So what is wrong here? Please let me know.
