It looks like the glide slope indicated by PAPI lights is much more steep than 3°. Is that correct?
-
Considering the P-factor, shouldn't it be on the opposite side (left) when the propeller is spinning to the right?
-
The new in-flight raindrop system which blurs everything (which is probably corret) looks very differently when I use MSAA 4x and when I use DLAA. In all cases the motion blur is turned off, upscaling is turned off. MSAA 4X: DLAA, sharpening = 0 DLAA, sharpening = 1

Authorization failed after latest patch
AJaromir replied to RyanFlint's topic in Flaming Cliffs Bugs & Problems
I seem to have solved the problem by removing all six FC3 (sub)modules and reinstalling it via the new UI (not via in-game) module manager. Can anyone confirm? -

If you check the modules folder you can see the aircrafts are no longer in the FC3 folder, but each aircraft is like separate module. I think there is some activation issue which excepts that you have installed FC3 and not each module separately. -
All prop planes - it is not possible to override take off assist

But that's still only half the solution. -

They almost never do that. Also they can not when they don't own desired aircraft. -
Really? Should Ponzi really buy ED?
-
RB must withdraw the product. They are the ones who own it and thus decide whether or not it will be sold.
-
Well, I would like to see in terms of service more rights to own product. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/legal/terms_of_service.php
-
If Razbam owns its products, then it has every right to have them removed from the ED website at its own request. Razbam itself doesn't seem to want to do that, or else it probably would have happened a long time ago. I think if RB cares about protecting the user from buying potential abandonware, they should do so.

Still the content is published by ED and not by themself. Heatblur is the only one I know who sells the keys independently on the ED store.
-
It is a third party to the user because the user is contracting with ED and not with other developers. But ED is the publisher in this case. So there is the same or similar relationship as, for example, between Electronic Arts and game studios like Bioware, Dice, EA Capital Games,.... Although ED doesn't own them (unlike EA, who owns the studios in question), they more or less act as if they do, because they can't do otherwise. I understand the principle that ED wants money from the sale of other modules as well, because the core game is free and therefore providing the SDK is conditional on a contract. But that makes the developer in question such a pseudo property of Eagle Dynamics.
-
Actually Razbam, HB, e.t.c... are 2nd party developers from view of the ED because they have contracts with ED. Pure 3rd party developer would be developer of the A-4E mod. Or like addon developers for X-plane, MSFS2020,... - In short they are independent on publisher.
-
Btw that review bombing on Steam is also frustrating. Yes. Because all contracts are with ED. The 3rd party developer stuff is sold via ED page. Not via their own page. ED is like publisher.
-
Anti skid on? Maybe it prevents to turn the wheel to avoid skid.
-
Here is video how the Mig-19P looked like when ED denied to remove "EA" mark out of it.

As a customer (consumer), I could care less about internal disputes. I am simply a customer, I buy goods and the seller has to comply with all the legal conditions that apply in the country. If the contract guarantees support, they must provide it. If they knowingly sell a broken product or otherwise mislead the buyer, they can be severely punished for that. Which is currently ED's problem, because ED is the one who sells the modules in question, regardless of who creates them. In our country, by law, the seller is responsible for the products.

Being an official 3rd party developer to me means that ED guarantees the quality of those developers. After all, developers could easily release content for DCS:W unofficially, simply as a paid mod. That's more or less how it has been working for decades in X-plane, FSX and MSFS2020. And as we know, you don't need to be an official developer to make a reputation for a team. See the A-4E project, PMDG addons for MSFS, A2A addons for MSFS,... Never official, still better than original.
