The box and the green symbol in it shows the same things like the servo visualisation in Hind autopilot panel or like in MI-8 - which is the deflection of servos. Once those are on the edge of the box, the servos can not do its job properly and so the SCAS. In MI-8 the flight egineer manually reset the servos by rotating knobs on central panel to get them into operating area. In MI-8 this system is independent on the stick position. That's why it must be manually adjusted. In other helicopters like KA-50 or AH-64 or whatever it is bounded with the stick neutral position (trimmed position) So, if the green symbol is on the edge of the box, you should reset trim to new position.
-
Red cross is neutral force position - the point where the controls are trimmed. The white is pilot input. The green is SCAS servo deflection. The box is SCAS limit.
-
To see the limits of the SCAS. When the SCAS is on the edge of its input authority, it will not be able to do its job properly.

I can comfirm. Turn on the wake turbulences. Then load E.G. the bomber intercept fast mission for FW-190A8. Fly into swarm of B-17s and stay there for a minute. The frame will drop to very low values. Probably caused by CPU bottleneck which has probably problem to calculate ineractions of turbulences for such big swarm of units. Now try the same thing with wake turbulences set to off. No FPS drop at all. My system: MB: MSI Z170A gaming M5, running in UEFI mode CPU: Core I7, 6700K RAM: Kingstom HyperX Fury DDR4 64GB (kit 4x16GB) 2400mhz CL15 with cooler GPU: MSI GTX1080 Gaming X 8G SSD: Samsung NVMe SM951 512GB HDD: Segate BarraCuda 3,5" 7200RPM, 2TB OS: Windows 10, version 20H2 (build 19042.685), installed to SSD. Game installed to SSD in directory "C:\DCS World\"

If the source is the manufacturer (the sukhoi site) Then probably the ED has the information directly from them. I hope.
-
This is the data source used by ED to get information about SU-33 https://www.sukhoi.org/products/samolety/military/su33/ http://www.airwar.ru/enc/fighter/su33.html
-
I don't think so. Why the ED will do the PFM and ASM for Mig-29 then? The SU-33 like other addons got the new PFM with all that gizmo around. ED never do something without relevant and legal data. Also the 3rd pardy developers must send the ED evidence of their flight and systems models and everything must be legal.
-
Thank You. Yes, I know those values and know where to find them. But in principle, this information should be in the game manual. 15 years ago those values were not needed because SU-33 had SFM. With the SFM it was possible to easily take-off with the impossible loadout.
-
Those are not in DCS:SU-33 flight manual. So this info is useless.

Engine RPM decrease at collective release?
AJaromir replied to D4n's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
One more thing. The whatever engine is not possible to instantly increase its thrust. If the system puts too much fuel into combustion chamber, the engine may start burn. Just like the old ME-262 did because it did not have any hi-tech engine control system. The pilot was controling the fuel valve directly. Too fast increase caused low pressure compressor stall, catching the fire by overfilling engine by fuel and very often it was instakill of your engine due to very high temperature. Too fast decrease caused engine flameout (flame was literally blown out) or again, the engine burning caused by high pressure compressor stall. In those era no aircraft did have surge or spill doors, variable blade angles e.t.c... -
Sorry to wake up this topic. Just IMO there is one important thing to fix in the SU-33 manual. Those take-off weights are quite difficult to find in the DCS:SU-27 manual because those are written only in the "SU-33 HISTORY" chapter. It is not possible to find them in any charts in manual or in any guide. BTW the SU-33 manual does not contain any "flight school" chapter which would be important for players those did buy the SU-33 and have no experience how to take-off/land with it from carrier and generally from/to normal airfield e.t.c...

Good day. In the manual is not written if this valve is opened in pulled or pushed position. After some tests I've found the pushed position is opened and pulled position is closed. Also with that I've found the standard commands work opposite way. That means the command "Fuel valve CLOSE - RWin+F" Opens the fuel fire shutoff valve and command "Fuel valve Open - RAlt+F" closes the fuel fire shutoff valve.

reported SU-25 (and SU-25T) KMGU-MER mode bug
AJaromir replied to AJaromir's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi. I know, this one probably has low priority. Just wanted to know how's going.... -
Just a note from manual: So maybe the reducing RPM is essential. IMO you can not judge the FM when noone of us did fly this machine IRL. And because all other aircrafts do..... Mind this is Jakolev Jak-52 and not the Zlín Z-50. So, only the real Jak-52 pilot konws. Not the chairforce pilots.

Engine RPM decrease at collective release?
AJaromir replied to D4n's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
The engine RPM depends on the load. (See the AplhaOneSix comment.) Mind the engine has independent drive turbine. Than means it is not connected with compressor. The compressor is driven by its own turbine. So, the engine core turbine that drives compressor is changing its speed to keep the rotor turbine in steady RPM. Check this video: -
reported SU-25 (and SU-25T) KMGU-MER mode bug

Just to make things clear. This is what I mean via mission editor payload menu: And this is what I mean via ground crew comms rearm menu: -
reported SU-25 (and SU-25T) KMGU-MER mode bug
AJaromir replied to AJaromir's topic in Bugs and Problems
Here are the tracks: VIA EDITOR.trk VIA RADIO.trk -
This bug is in DCS for many years. I've figured out it depends whenever I choose payload in the mission editor or via ground crew radio comms menu. When I choose the payload via ground crew comms menu, the KMGU-MER mod is not working properly. More about that in the video. Manual about this says: СЕРИЯ КМГУ-МБД (SSC-MJM SERIES) – a special release mode for the KMGU submunitions dispenser and multiple ejection rack (MER). KMGU submunitions are dispensed at 2-second intervals, MER munitions are released 0.3 seconds apart, according to the total quantity specified by the salvo size switch.

Tascam DR-05, version 2. I own it. Really good toy, cheap and very accurate.

So, did you download game ready drivers or creator ready drivers?

[REPORTED]P-51 gun dispersion after shooting and repairs
AJaromir replied to Dirkan's topic in Bugs and Problems
Bump. The issue is most probably still there. - I have to ask for repair aircraft to fix this problem. This seems correct. But - with the "unlimited ammo" gameplay option simultaneously with the "immortal" gameplay option, the range is still shorting and the dispersion is still increasing. Also - It seems still does not matter on burst lenght or cooldown time. -
What I noticed and made me happy, is the much lower "miss" tolerance. You have to be really accurate to get the fuel. At the other aircrafts, the hose just "teleports" to position, but not here :)

Please, can you or someone post link to download this file from Stable version? Thank you.

O.k. In the newest Beta the bug is still there.
