  1. As tittle says. It is just low priority cosmetic upgrade. You would make possible to make animated background in main menu. Or at least able to play videos on it.
  2. I agree. I think this scheme just causes problems in general. Apache is not the only machine where it doesn't work. Another is the Hornet, for example, which has a recurring problem with low engine thrust in this mode. I think the cancellation will benefit everyone. For one thing, the developers will have less work to do and for another, the game will be more accessible. Because in my opinion the main problem is not realism. I think the best way to make the game more accessible is to completely rebuild the basic training missions for the SU-25T. Furthermore, these missions should not only include how to operate the machine, but should teach the basics of flying. This is particularly lacking in DCS:W. Probably not a problem for many veterans since we already played IL2, Rise of Flight, FSX, LoMAC twenty years ago. But newcomers to the genre have a hard time in my opinion.
  3. Yes, because peeple see it works in many other games. But DCS:W is not like other games. It is huge game in huge playground and graphics is relatively small part of it. If some game is already well optimised, change of API would not provide miracles.

  6. I like the Vulkan is developed. Vulkan is multi-platform compatibile which could make the game in future natively compatibile with other operating systems.
  7. As far as I remember, ED works on system of time based "deferred" calculation for low-priority units - in distance - invisible.
  8. For that reason the special flight model, called "GFM" or General Flight Model is now made for AI aircrafts.
  9. It sounds a bit like pilot error. You talk about take off or about landing? Generally you only need to set axis curves. Make sure you have turned off the game mode. Make sure you have turned off force feedback in misc. options menu. Is this your issue?
  10. As far as I know, in Mig-15 is simulated that you have your oxygen mask always on. So no matter your canopy is open or not, you will not get hypoxia because you wear oxygen mask. But once you turn off the main valve, you will starve oxygen, even on ground because your mask is always on.
  11. Yes, in my opinion this is not simulated the best way in P-47. It is made well in Mig-15
  12. Why the flaps must be up? I did not find anything about that in manual
  13. Please make the BLC (SPS) detent on throttle like the real 21 have. Make it possible to toggle on/off like in other aircrafts is possible for afterburner. Thank You.

  14. Tried to reproduce. Bug is still there. If the engines are turned on before electronics, the NWS stops working. Tested in DCS 2.9.2.49940 Open Beta, MT preview, custom single player mission.

  18. As the title says. It is impossible to properly set the altimeter without reference pressure dial.
  19. Every aircraft in the World have the pressure dial. To set propper QNH or QFE or the standart pressure (29.92). What will you do when you land on different airfield than which you took of from? How will you set the propper altimeter pressure setting when the airfield has different elevation? Since there is even no radar altimeter, it is very imporant to be able to set correct QNH or QFE. I consider this as the BUG because it is the bug - missing the reference pressure dial.
  20. From my experience it is 1:1. That means the limit is somewhere around 25% (end of the vertical line). More pushing of your stick forward have no effect.
  21. Always watch speed and acceleration. You were overspeeding a lot. I don't know what is the G limit for SU-25T with bombs, but usually it is around 4g-7g
  22. By the way everything is written in the DCS:SU-25T flight manual.
  23. According to flight manual you should turn only at speeds lower than 10 km/h. Also mind the propper rudder pedals technique. Rule number one: Heels on floor. Not on pedals. Only for wheel braking. I've landed with overweighted SU-25T without issue.
