  1. I’m playing through for the first time now (on 2.7) and have found that sometimes the wingmen respond only on UHF. I haven’t figured out when or why, but if you’re getting no response on the correct FM frequency try UHF. Whatever freq you’re on with Overlord seems to work.
  2. I played this for the first time, obsessively, last night. What a great campaign! Ranger79 if you DM me a Venmo or PayPal I’d really like to send you the 10 bucks this used to cost!
  3. It's 3.5 years later, but I'm having the exact same problem. I'm happy to have found this, but blown away that this was known and fixed literally years ago and nobody bothered to incorporate the updated mission into the actual module. Another night wasted troubleshooting instead of playing.
  4. Even on single player, I haven’t found consistent 60 FPS on the ground or at low altitude to be possible.
  5. I have a decent but not top notch rig (8700k, 2080TI, 32G RAM) and an Index and have found 45/90 with moderate graphics settings works best. Consistent 60 FPS on the ground just isn’t achievable for me even with min settings, VR modded shaders, etc.
  6. Try changing the player call sign away from any of the hog names to one of the car names. If you’re a Vaicom user, this is a known issue.
  7. I’m new to the A-10 and will definitely buy this when it’s out!
  8. That was it, thank you! Changing from Tusk to Colt made radios behave normally. I thought I'd taken Vaicom out of the equation by simply not using it, but obviously that wasn't sufficient. Now if only the AI wingman would actually take off...
  9. I already mentioned this here but I'm hoping someone in this forum has an idea what's going on. If you take one of the existing A-10C missions (I've been trying Smerch Hunt) and change the player flight to A-10C IIs, (no other changes) all radio communications stop working. You can't reach the tower for departure, wingman, or JTAC. I'm fairly confident I'm actually using the radios correctly as they all seem to work in the original A-10C. I'm playing with easy communications off. Is there a known issue with the A-10C radios? Is there something else that needs adjusting in the mission? Is there something else I've foolishly overlooked? Thanks!
  10. Did anyone else have trouble with the radio in these missions? I've only tried Smerch Hunt so far. On the original, ATC and JTAC send and receive as expected on their respective frequencies. On this one, I can't get responses from them. I poked around in the mission editor a bit but didn't see anything obvious. Any ideas? Are the radios working as expected for everyone else?
  11. This mod is a massive improvement for me, much thanks for all the work in creating and updating it! The improved readability in the F-16 cockpit is one of the things I love about this mod, but I’ve noticed glare on the MFDs is so bad if the sun is anywhere close to behind me that they’re sometimes completely invisible. I just see a solid square of reflected white light. Does anybody else have this problem? Do any of the config options alter this? I typically run with 2.2 gamma and if I crank it down the MFDs do become visible again, but everything else is way too dark, especially after turning to where the sun’s no longer behind me. Any suggestions?
  12. Turning off simple comms definitely had an effect, as the flight responded and said things like “running in” but they still didn’t drop ordnance on the armor. Any suggestions are welcome!
  13. Bummer. I surely tried this but I also have simple comms enabled, which I see earlier in the thread is an issue. I'll try again with that off. This seems like such a major DCS bug to be getting so little attention! Is it possibly specific to the F-16 module?
  14. I can't, for the life of me, get a single wingman to drop a single bomb on the armor column in mission 2, making it impossible to pass. This is on the current open beta. In-mission, I've tried ordering them to attack mission targets, ground targets, my enemy, my target. Still nothing. I've tried modifying the mission in the editor, changing task types, fire evasion types, and everything I can think of. Still not one bomb released. What am I doing wrong?
