Great spot, nicely done very professional. The voice over is well spoken and not monotonous. For an outsider to the series the video is a great introduction to the features and gameplay. I spreaded it as I could on my net, good luck. The List... (Pandora Box) I wonder the reason for this sudden change in the way the modules are annouced? On a video that is supposedly a casual introduction to DCS world, you reveal multiple projects at once... I don't get it. At the known rate of release, some of the items on that list maybe enjoyed by my grandchildren, I hope ;) But that's ok, I'm happy like everyone else :cheer3nc:

Thanks for your genuinely comments of encouragement, it helps me deal with my small rift between my beliefs and how I spend my free time. Maybe 'guilt' is not the right word in this particular case to describe my exacts feelings (lost in translation ;)). Let's summarize and say that, somewhere in my mind, I got that little betty voice whispering "this is not right" that spoils the fun. Besides that I love planes and flying in general, what motivates me the most to get involved in modern military simulation is the technical challenge that provide learning sophisticated and realistic systems. Millions of people believe that we're immortal beings having a human experience. Well, I'm skeptic about it, I tend to think that we're violent monkeys with computers that don't have a clue about almost nothing (and that includes you haha). For personal reasons, I believe that whatever you put in your mind permeates your daily life. This may sound a little cryptic but, don't undestimate the power of your mind.

Thanks for the attention guys, appreciate. I don't have any trauma with this new feeling or have any problem with that, well sometimes I fell a bit bored but that's all. It's about having fun after all. Getting pleasure for what you do. Feeling that sentiment of accomplishment that makes you feel right, overcome challenges... Of course, Call of Duty and those kind of games that death is glorified and the fun is focused exclusively on killing, are out of my radar. Absolutely agree danilop, excellent reasoning. We're descendants of the most violent tribe back in the days. Ok, I know I'm like asking for a meat recipe on a veggie forum. Sorry if this annoys some of you. I just wanted to know if anyone feels the same.

Hello folks For less than a year I am experiencing a strong feeling, that is preventing me from fully enjoying military simulators (DCS, F4, ArmA, etc). The feeling I'm experiencing lately, that is causing me a certain feeling of sadness and emptyness, arises in that, ultimately, I'm pretending to kill people. When I see an armored vehicle on fire, I can not stop thinking about the crew inside. When I see the smoke coming out of the buildings I imagine the devastating effect and the huge number of people killed if it were real. When I see an airframe blown out of the sky I think about those pilots, that loved to fly but were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I stopped playing ArmA and FPS because I do not enjoy running around with a gun pretending to kill humans, anymore. I know that some of you will find this message funny or at least unusual in a military theme forum. Honestly, I do not quite understand why these images come to my mind when generally I really enjoy simulators. I wonder if any of you feel something similar, or what techniques you use to desensitize about death in your simulation experience. Or even, how professional soldiers overcome guilt when they know they have killed people? Thanks.

No axis, just buttons, but sure you can! ;) nah, you're quite right, you can't drive ground units with analog controls, yet. You can control turrets tho :joystick: This promising module that is still in beta, will only get better. Especially now that they have announced Total Combat Strike, it is conceivable that both products will benefit synergistically.

Sure you can :) Preliminary DCS Change Log 1.2.3:

Yeah, RTFMing won't do harm ;) Alternatively, you could use the mission generator to get your feet wet. In the title screen click on CREATE FAST MISSION Click on ADVANCED MODE The options are pretty straight forward, select the ones you want but don't forget to set VEHICLES at least to MIN. Click on GENERATE Now the tricky part, click on EDIT MISSION, that will take you to the Mighty Mission Editor. Don't fret, you only have to do one simple task. On the left panel, under MISC section, click on the small flags icon BATTLEFIELD COMMANDERS. Click on PILOT CAN CONTROL VEHICLES. Run the mission clicking on the blue icon on the left panel FLY MISSION. It will ask you to save the mission, click on YES. When the mission starts press F10 to access the command map. Click on one random ground unit on your side and then click on the JTAC view. If the JTAC icon doesn't appear when you click on the unit, click on another one until it shows up. Hope that helps.
